The Moveable Cycle Note: The Daily Apostle Readings for the Moveable Cycle have no fixed date as the cycle begins with the Sunday of Easter which has a moveable date.
The Prokhimena of the Apostle and the Alleluia of the Gospel Epistles of St. Paul- First Period Epistles of St. Paul- Second Period Epistles of St. Paul- Third Period Epistles of St. Paul- Fourth Period Epistles of St. Paul- Fifth Period
On Great Feasts of the Lord which have a fixed date, Feasts of the Mother of God and Feasts for certain Saints, the Apostle Reading from the Movable Cycle is replaced with a reading from the Immovable Cycle. Note that not all Saints have a special Apostle Reading assigned to them. On days where a Saint is celebrated and there is no Apostle Reading, the Reading is taken from the Movable Cycle or from the Common Apostle Readings according to the Rank of the Saint. (See Below)
