PRIEST

Let us pray unto the Lord.

O Master and Lord of Sabaoth, our God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, thou that sittest upon the Cherubim and is hymned by the Seraphim, that dwells in the highest and looks down on the humble, who makes the sun rise upon the wicked and the good, and sends rain upon the just and the unjust; who with thine ineffable might dost rule and govern all creation and every breath; who chastises and again heals; accept me who now comes to thy goodness, and turn not in disgust from me a sinner; but hear the voice of my prayer, O thou that always hears prayers, and send down help from thy holy dwelling place and have compassion upon the creature of thy hands, and heal thy servant (.....) from his/her unremitting illness.
For thine it is to have mercy and to save us, our God, and to thee we ascribe glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and for ever; world without end. Amen.

PRIEST

Let us pray unto the Lord.

O Almighty Master, the healer of our souls and bodies, who humbles and exalts; who chastises and also heals; in thy mercy visit our brother/sister (.....) who is unwell. Stretch forth thine arm, that is full of healing and raise him/her from his/her bed and cure him/her from his/her illness. Expel the spirit of disease; banish from him/her every wound, every pain, every suffering, every fever or shivering; and if there be in him/her offences and transgressions, loose, remit and forgive him/her through thy loving kindness, Yea, O Lord, spare thy creature, in Jesus Christ our Lord, with whom thou art blessed, together with thine all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and for ever; world without end. Amen.

PRIEST

Let us pray unto the Lord.
O Lord our God, who by thy word alone dost cure the chronic and dreadful passions, thou who didst heal Peter’s mother in law of her fever: thou that compassionately chastises and of thy goodness dost heal; thou who art able to take away every sickness and every disease; Do thou also now, O Master, heal thy servant (.....) of his/her continual suffering, and raise him/her from his/her bed of pain and from the couch of suffering; lay upon him/her the medicine of thy mercy, and grant unto him/her a complete recovery and health.
For thou art the physician of our bodies and our souls, and to thee we ascribe glory, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever; world without end. Amen.
