21

ΚΑΙ ταῦτα τὰ δικαιώματα, ἃ παραθήσῃ ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν.

2 ἐὰν κτήσῃ παῖδα ῾Εβραῖον, ἓξ ἔτη δουλεύσει σοι· τῷ δὲ ἑβδόμῳ ἔτει ἀπελεύσεται ἐλεύθερος δωρεάν.

3 ἐὰν αὐτὸς μόνος εἰσέλθῃ, καὶ μόνος ἐξελεύσεται· ἐὰν δὲ γυνὴ συνεισέλθῃ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ, ἐξελεύσεται καὶ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ.

4 καὶ ἐὰν δὲ ὁ κύριος δῷ αὐτῷ γυναῖκα, καὶ τέκῃ αὐτῷ υἱοὺς ἢ θυγατέρας, ἡ γυνὴ καὶ τὰ παιδία ἔσται τῷ κυρίῳ αὐτοῦ,αὐτὸς δὲ μόνος ἐξελεύσεται.

5 ἐὰν δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἴπῃ ὁ παῖς, ἠγάπησα τὸν κύριόν μου καὶ τὴν γυναῖκα καὶ τὰ παιδία, οὐκ ἀποτρέχω ἐλεύθερος·

6 προσάξει αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὸ κριτήριον τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ τότε προσάξει αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν ἐπὶ τὸν σταθμόν, καὶ τρυπήσει ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ τὸ οὖς τῷ ὀπητίῳ, καὶ δουλεύσει αὐτῷ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.

7 ἐὰν δέ τις ἀποδῶται τὴν ἑαυτοῦ θυγατέρα οἰκέτιν, οὐκ ἀπελεύσεται, ὥσπερ ἀποτρέχουσιν αἱ δοῦλαι.

8 ἐὰν μὴ εὐαρεστήσῃ τῷ κυρίῳ αὐτῆς ἣν αὐτῷ καθωμολογήσατο, ἀπολυτρώσει αὐτήν· ἔθνει δὲ ἀλλοτρίῳ οὐ κύριός ἐστι πωλεῖν αὐτήν, ὅτι ἠθέτησεν ἐν αὐτῇ.

9 ἐὰν δὲ τῷ υἱῷ καθομολογήσηται αὐτήν, κατὰ τὸ δικαίωμα τῶν θυγατέρων ποιήσει αὐτῇ.

10 ἐὰν δὲ ἄλλην λάβῃ ἑαυτῷ, τὰ δέοντα καὶ τὸν ἱματισμὸν καὶ τὴν ὁμιλίαν αὐτῆς οὐκ ἀποστερήσει.

11 ἐὰν δὲ τὰ τρία ταῦτα μὴ ποιήσῃ αὐτῇ, ἐξελεύσεται δωρεὰν ἄνευ ἀργυρίου.

12 ᾿Εὰν δὲ πατάξῃ τίς τινα, καὶ ἀποθάνῃ, θανάτῳ θανατούσθω·

13 ὁ δὲ οὐχ ἑκών, ἀλλ᾿ ὁ Θεὸς παρέδωκεν εἰς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ, δώσω σοι τόπον, οὗ φεύξεται ἐκεῖ ὁ φονεύσας.

14 ἐὰν δέ τις ἐπιθῆται τῷ πλησίον ἀποκτεῖναι αὐτὸν δόλῳ καὶ καταφύγῃ, ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου μου λήψῃ αὐτὸν θανατῶσαι.

15 ὃς τύπτει πατέρα αὐτοῦ ἢ μητέρα αὐτοῦ, θανάτῳ θανατούσθω.

16 ὁ κακολογῶν πατέρα αὐτοῦ ἢ μητέρα αὐτοῦ τελευτήσει θανάτῳ.

17 ὃς ἐὰν κλέψῃ τίς τινα τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ καταδυναστεύσας αὐτὸν ἀποδῶται, καὶ εὑρεθῇ ἐν αὐτῷ, θανάτῳ τελευτάτω.

18 ἐὰν δὲ λοιδορῶνται δύο ἄνδρες καὶ πατάξῃ τις τὸν πλησίον λίθῳ ἢ πυγμῇ, καὶ μὴ ἀποθάνῃ, κατακλιθῇ δὲ ἐπὶ τὴν κοίτην,

19 ἐὰν ἐξαναστὰς ὁ ἄνθρωπος περιπατήσῃ ἔξω ἐπὶ ράβδου, ἀθῷος ἔσται ὁ πατάξας· πλὴν τῆς ἀργίας αὐτοῦ ἀποτίσει καὶ τὰ ἰατρεῖα.

20 ἐὰν δέ τις πατάξῃ τὸν παῖδα αὐτοῦ ἢ τὴν παιδίσκην αὐτοῦ ἐν ράβδῳ καὶ ἀποθάνῃ ὑπὸ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ, δίκῃ ἐκδικηθήσεται.

21 ἐὰν δὲ διαβιώσῃ ἡμέραν μίαν ἢ δύο, οὐκ ἐκδικηθήσεται· τὸ γὰρ ἀργύριον αὐτοῦ ἐστιν.

22 ἐὰν δὲ μάχωνται δύο ἄνδρες καὶ πατάξωσι γυναῖκα ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχουσαν καὶ ἐξέλθῃ τὸ παιδίον αὐτῆς μὴ ἐξεικονισμένον, ἐπιζήμιον ζημιωθήσεται· καθότι ἂν ἐπιβάλῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ τῆς γυναικός, δώσει μετὰ ἀξιώματος·

23 ἐὰν δὲ ἐξεικονισμένον ᾖ, δώσει ψυχὴν ἀντὶ ψυχῆς,

24 ὀφθαλμὸν ἀντὶ ὀφθαλμοῦ, ὀδόντα ἀντὶ ὀδόντος, χεῖρα ἀντὶ χειρός, πόδα ἀντὶ ποδός,

25 κατάκαυμα ἀντὶ κατακαύματος, τραῦμα ἀντὶ τραύματος, μώλωπα ἀντὶ μώλωπος.

26 ἐὰν δέ τις πατάξῃ τὸν ὀφθαλμὸν τοῦ οἰκέτου αὐτοῦ ἢ τὸν ὀφθαλμὸν τῆς θεραπαίνης αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐκτυφλώσῃ, ἐλευθέρους ἐξαποστελεῖ αὐτοὺς ἀντὶ τοῦ ὀφθαλμοῦ αὐτῶν.

27 ἐὰν δὲ τὸν ὀδόντα τοῦ οἰκέτου ἢ τὸν ὀδόντα τῆς θεραπαίνης αὐτοῦ ἐκκόψῃ, ἐλευθέρους ἐξαποστελεῖ αὐτοὺς ἀντὶ τοῦ ὀδόντος αὐτῶν.

28 ᾿Εὰν δὲ κερατίσῃ ταῦρος ἄνδρα ἢ γυναῖκα καὶ ἀποθάνῃ, λίθοις λιθοβοληθήσεται ὁ ταῦρος, καὶ οὐ βρωθήσεται τὰ κρέα αὐτοῦ· ὁ δὲ κύριος τοῦ ταύρου ἀθῷος ἔσται.

29 ἐὰν δὲ ὁ ταῦρος κερατιστὴς ᾖ πρὸ τῆς χθὲς καὶ πρὸ τῆς τρίτης, καὶ διαμαρτύρωνται τῷ κυρίῳ αὐτοῦ, καὶ μὴ ἀφανίσῃ αὐτόν, ἀνέλῃ δὲ ἄνδρα ἢ γυναῖκα, ὁ ταῦρος λιθοβοληθήσεται καὶ ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ προσαποθανεῖται.

30 ἐὰν δὲ λύτρα ἐπιβληθῇ αὐτῷ, δώσει λύτρα τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ ὅσα ἐὰν ἐπιβάλωσιν αὐτῷ.

31 ἐὰν δὲ υἱὸν ἢ θυγατέρα κερατίσῃ, κατὰ τὸ δικαίωμα τοῦτο ποιήσωσιν αὐτῷ.

32 ἐὰν δὲ παῖδα κερατίσῃ ὁ ταῦρος ἢ παιδίσκην, ἀργυρίου τριάκοντα δίδραχμα δώσει τῷ κυρίῳ αὐτῶν, καὶ ὁ ταῦρος λιθοβοληθήσεται.

33 ἐὰν δέ τις ἀνοίξῃ λάκκον ἢ λατομήσῃ λάκκον καὶ μὴ καλύψῃ αὐτόν, καὶ ἐμπέσῃ ἐκεῖ μόσχος ἢ ὄνος,

34 ὁ κύριος τοῦ λάκκου ἀποτίσει· ἀργύριον δώσει τῷ κυρίῳ αὐτῶν, τὸ δὲ τετελευτηκὸς αὐτῷ ἔσται.

35 ἐὰν δὲ κερατίσῃ τινὸς ταῦρος τὸν ταῦρον τοῦ πλησίον καὶ τελευτήσῃ, ἀποδώσονται τὸν ταῦρον τὸν ζῶντα καὶ διελοῦνται τὸ ἀργύριον αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὸν ταῦρον τὸν τεθνηκότα διελοῦνται.

36 ἐὰν δὲ γνωρίζηται ὁ ταῦρος ὅτι κερατιστής ἐστι πρὸ τῆς χθὲς καὶ πρὸ τῆς τρίτης ἡμέρας, καὶ διαμεμαρτυρημένοι ὦσι τῷ κυρίῳ αὐτοῦ, καὶ μὴ ἀφανίσῃ αὐτόν, ἀποτίσει ταῦρον ἀντὶ ταύρου, ὁ δὲ τετελευτηκὼς αὐτῷ ἔσται.

ΕΑΝ δέ τις κλέψῃ μόσχον ἢ πρόβατον καὶ σφάξῃ ἢ ἀποδῶται, πέντε μόσχους ἀποτίσει ἀντὶ τοῦ μόσχου καὶ τέσσαρα πρόβατα ἀντὶ τοῦ προβάτου.

2 ἐὰν δὲ ἐν τῷ διορύγματι εὑρεθῇ ὁ κλέπτης καὶ πληγεὶς ἀποθάνῃ, οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτῷ φόνος·

3 ἐὰν δὲ ἀνατείλῃ ὁ ἥλιος ἐπ᾿ αὐτῷ, ἔνοχός ἐστιν, ἀνταποθανεῖται. ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ὑπάρχῃ αὐτῷ, πραθήτω ἀντὶ τοῦ κλέμματος.

4 ἐὰν δὲ καταληφθῇ καὶ εὑρεθῇ ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ τὸ κλέμμα ἀπό τε ὄνου ἕως προβάτου ζῶντα, διπλᾶ αὐτὰ ἀποτίσει.

5 ἐὰν δὲ καταβοσκήσῃ τις ἀγρὸν ἢ ἀμπελῶνα καὶ ἀφῇ τὸ κτῆνος αὐτοῦ καταβοσκῆσαι ἀγρὸν ἕτερον, ἀποτίσει ἐκ τοῦ ἀγροῦ αὐτοῦ κατὰ τὸ γέννημα αὐτοῦ· ἐὰν δὲ πάντα τὸν ἀγρὸν καταβοσκήσῃ, τὰ βέλτιστα τοῦ ἀγροῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ βέλτιστα τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος αὐτοῦ ἀποτίσει.

6 ἐὰν δὲ ἐξελθὸν πῦρ εὕρῃ ἀκάνθας καὶ προσεμπρήσῃ ἅλωνα ἢ στάχυς ἢ πεδίον, ἀποτίσει ὁ τὸ πῦρ ἐκκαύσας.

7 ἐὰν δέ τις δῷ τῷ πλησίον ἀργύριον ἢ σκεύη φυλάξαι, καὶ κλαπῇ ἐκ τῆς οἰκίας τοῦ ἀνθρώπου, ἐὰν εὑρεθῇ ὁ κλέψας, ἀποτίσει τὸ διπλοῦν·

8 ἐὰν δὲ μὴ εὑρεθῇ ὁ κλέψας, προσελεύσεται ὁ κύριος τῆς οἰκίας ἐνώπιον τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ ὀμεῖται ἦ μὴν μὴ αὐτὸν πεπονηρεῦσθαι ἐφ᾿ ὅλης τῆς παρακαταθήκης τοῦ πλησίον.

9 κατὰ πᾶν ρητὸν ἀδίκημα, περί τε μόσχου καὶ ὑποζυγίου καὶ προβάτου καὶ ἱματίου καὶ πάσης ἀπωλείας τῆς ἐγκαλουμένης, ὅ,τι οὖν ἂν ᾖ, ἐνώπιον τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐλεύσεται ἡ κρίσις ἀμφοτέρων, καὶ ὁ ἁλοὺς διὰ τοῦ Θεοῦ ἀποτίσει διπλοῦν τῷ πλησίον·

10 ἐὰν δέ τις δῷ τῷ πλησίον ὑποζύγιον ἢ μόσχον ἢ πρόβατον ἢ πᾶν κτῆνος φυλάξαι, καὶ συντριβῇ ἢ τελευτήσῃ ἢ αἰχμάλωτον γένηται, καὶ μηδεὶς γνῷ,

11 ὅρκος ἔσται τοῦ Θεοῦ ἀνὰ μέσον ἀμφοτέρων, ἦ μὴν μὴ αὐτὸν πεπονηρεῦσθαι καθόλου τῆς παρακαταθήκης τοῦ πλησίον· καὶ οὕτως προσδέξεται ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ, καὶ οὐκ ἀποτίσει.

12 ἐὰν δὲ κλαπῇ παρ᾿ αὐτοῦ, ἀποτίσει τῷ κυρίῳ.

13 ἐὰν δὲ θηριάλωτον γένηται, ἄξει αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν θήραν καὶ οὐκ ἀποτίσει.

14 ἐὰν δὲ αἰτήσῃ τις παρὰ τοῦ πλησίον, καὶ συντριβῇ ἢ ἀποθάνῃ ἢ αἰχμάλωτον γένηται, ὁ δὲ κύριος μὴ ᾖ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ, ἀποτίσει·

15 ἐὰν δὲ ὁ κύριος ᾖ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ, οὐκ ἀποτίσει· ἐὰν δὲ μισθωτὸς ᾖ, ἔσται αὐτῷ ἀντὶ τοῦ μισθοῦ αὐτοῦ.

16 ᾿Εὰν δὲ ἀπατήσῃ τις παρθένον ἀμνήστευτον καὶ κοιμηθῇ μετ᾿ αὐτῆς, φερνῇ φερνιεῖ αὐτὴν αὐτῷ γυναῖκα.

17 ἐὰν δὲ ἀνανεύων ἀνανεύσῃ καὶ μὴ βούληται ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς δοῦναι αὐτὴν αὐτῷ γυναῖκα, ἀργύριον ἀποτίσει τῷ πατρὶ καθ᾿ ὅσον ἐστὶν ἡ φερνὴ τῶν παρθένων.

18 φαρμακοὺς οὐ περιποιήσετε.

19 πᾶν κοιμώμενον μετὰ κτήνους, θανάτῳ ἀποκτενεῖτε αὐτούς.

20 ὁ θυσιάζων θεοῖς θανάτῳ ἐξολοθρευθήσεται, πλὴν Κυρίῳ μόνῳ.

21 καὶ προσήλυτον οὐ κακώσετε, οὐδὲ μὴ θλίψητε αὐτόν· ἦτε γὰρ προσήλυτοι ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ.

22 πᾶσαν χήραν καὶ ὀρφανὸν οὐ κακώσετε·

23 ἐὰν δὲ κακίᾳ κακώσητε αὐτούς, καὶ κεκράξαντες καταβοήσωσι πρός με, ἀκοῇ εἰσακούσομαι τῆς φωνῆς αὐτῶν

24 καὶ ὀργισθήσομαι θυμῷ καὶ ἀποκτενῶ ὑμᾶς μαχαίρᾳ, καὶ ἔσονται αἱ γυναῖκες ὑμῶν χῆραι καὶ τὰ παιδία ὑμῶν ὀρφανά.

25 ἐὰν δὲ ἀργύριον ἐκδανείσῃς τῷ ἀδελφῷ τῷ πενιχρῷ παρὰ σοί, οὐκ ἔσῃ αὐτὸν κατεπείγων, οὐκ ἐπιθήσεις αὐτῷ τόκον.

26 ἐὰν δὲ ἐνεχύρασμα ἐνεχυράσῃς τὸ ἱμάτιον τοῦ πλησίον, πρὸ δυσμῶν ἡλίου ἀποδώσεις αὐτῷ·

27 ἔστι γὰρ τοῦτο περιβόλαιον αὐτοῦ, μόνον τοῦτο τὸ ἱμάτιον ἀσχημοσύνης αὐτοῦ· ἐν τίνι κοιμηθήσεται; ἐὰν οὖν καταβοήσῃ πρός με, εἰσακούσομαι αὐτοῦ· ἐλεήμων γάρ εἰμι.

28 θεοὺς οὐ κακολογήσεις καὶ ἄρχοντα τοῦ λαοῦ σου οὐ κακῶς ἐρεῖς.

29 ἀπαρχὰς ἅλωνος καὶ ληνοῦ σου οὐ καθυστερήσεις· τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν υἱῶν σου δώσεις ἐμοί.

30 οὕτω ποιήσεις τὸν μόσχον σου καὶ τὸ πρόβατόν σου καὶ τὸ ὑποζύγιόν σου· ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἔσται ὑπὸ τὴν μητέρα, τῇ δὲ ὀγδόῃ ἡμέρᾳ ἀποδώσεις μοι αὐτό.

31 καὶ ἄνδρες ἅγιοι ἔσεσθέ μοι. καὶ κρέας θηριάλωτον οὐκ ἔδεσθε, τῷ κυνὶ ἀπορρίψατε αὐτό.

ΟΥ παραδέξῃ ἀκοὴν ματαίαν. οὐ συγκαταθήσῃ μετὰ τοῦ ἀδίκου γενέσθαι μάρτυς ἄδικος.

2 οὐκ ἔσῃ μετὰ πλειόνων ἐπὶ κακίᾳ. οὐ προστεθήσῃ μετὰ πλήθους ἐκκλῖναι μετὰ τῶν πλειόνων, ὥστε ἐκκλῖναι κρίσιν.

3 καὶ πένητα οὐκ ἐλεήσεις ἐν κρίσει.

4 ἐὰν δὲ συναντήσῃς τῷ βοΐ τοῦ ἐχθροῦ σου ἢ τῷ ὑποζυγίῳ αὐτοῦ πλανωμένοις, ἀποστρέψας ἀποδώσεις αὐτῷ.

5 ἐὰν δὲ ἴδῃς τὸ ὑποζύγιον τοῦ ἐχθροῦ σου πεπτωκὸς ὑπὸ τὸν γόνον αὐτοῦ, οὐ παρελεύσῃ αὐτό, ἀλλὰ συναρεῖς αὐτὸ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ.

6 οὐ διαστρέψεις κρίμα πένητος ἐν κρίσει αὐτοῦ.

7 ἀπὸ παντὸς ρήματος ἀδίκου ἀποστήσῃ· ἀθῷον καὶ δίκαιον οὐκ ἀποκτενεῖς καὶ οὐ δικαιώσεις τὸν ἀσεβῆ ἕνεκεν δώρων.

8 καὶ δῶρα οὐ λήψῃ· τὰ γὰρ δῶρα ἐκτυφλοῖ ὀφθαλμοὺς βλεπόντων καὶ λυμαίνεται ρήματα δίκαια.

9 καὶ προσήλυτον οὐ θλίψετε· ὑμεῖς γὰρ οἴδατε τὴν ψυχὴν τοῦ προσηλύτου· αὐτοὶ γὰρ προσήλυτοι ἦτε ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ.

10 ῝Εξ ἔτη σπερεῖς τὴν γῆν σου καὶ συνάξεις τὰ γεννήματα αὐτῆς·

11 τῷ δὲ ἑβδόμῳ ἄφεσιν ποιήσεις καὶ ἀνήσεις αὐτήν, καὶ ἔδονται οἱ πτωχοὶ τοῦ ἔθνους σου, τὰ δὲ ὑπολειπόμενα ἔδεται τὰ ἄγρια θηρία. οὕτω ποιήσεις τὸν ἀμπελῶνά σου καὶ τὸν ἐλαιῶνά σου.

12 ἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις τὰ ἔργα σου, τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ἀνάπαυσις, ἵνα ἀναπαύσηται ὁ βοῦς σου καὶ τὸ ὑποζύγιόν σου, καὶ ἵνα ἀναψύξῃ ὁ υἱὸς τῆς παιδίσκης σου καὶ ὁ προσήλυτος.

13 πάντα, ὅσα εἴρηκα πρὸς ὑμᾶς, φυλάξασθε. Καὶ ὄνομα θεῶν ἑτέρων οὐκ ἀναμνησθήσεσθε, οὐδὲ μὴ ἀκουσθῇ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος ὑμῶν.

14 τρεῖς καιροὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἑορτάσατέ μοι.

15 τὴν ἑορτὴν τῶν ἀζύμων φυλάξασθε ποιεῖν· ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἔδεσθε ἄζυμα, καθάπερ ἐνετειλάμην σοι, κατὰ τὸν καιρὸν τοῦ μηνὸς τῶν νέων· ἐν γὰρ αὐτῷ ἐξῆλθες ἐξ Αἰγύπτου, οὐκ ὀφθήσῃ ἐνώπιόν μου κενός.

16 καὶ ἑορτὴν θερισμοῦ πρωτογεννημάτων ποιήσεις τῶν ἔργων σου, ὧν ἐὰν σπείρῃς ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ σου, καὶ ἑορτὴν συντελείας ἐπ᾿ ἐξόδου τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ τῶν ἔργων σου τῶν ἐκ τοῦ ἀγροῦ σου.

17 τρεῖς καιροὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ὀφθήσεται πᾶν ἀρσενικόν σου ἐνώπιον Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ σου.

18 ὅταν γὰρ ἐκβάλω τὰ ἔθνη ἀπὸ προσώπου σου καὶ ἐμπλατύνω τὰ ὅριά σου, οὐ θύσεις ἐπὶ ζύμῃ αἷμα θυσιάσματός μου, οὐ δὲ μὴ κοιμηθῇ στέαρ τῆς ἑορτῆς μου ἕως πρωΐ.

19 τὰς ἀπαρχὰς τῶν πρωτογεννημάτων τῆς γῆς σου εἰσοίσεις εἰς τὸν οἶκον Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ σου. οὐχ ἑψήσεις ἄρνα ἐν γάλακτι μητρὸς αὐτοῦ.

20 Καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω τὸν ἄγγελόν μου πρὸ προσώπου σου, ἵνα φυλάξῃ σε ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ, ὅπως εἰσαγάγῃ σε εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν ἡτοίμασά σοι.

21 πρόσεχε σεαυτῷ καὶ εἰσάκουε αὐτοῦ καὶ μὴ ἀπείθει αὐτῷ· οὐ γὰρ μὴ ὑποστείληταί σε, τὸ γὰρ ὄνομά μού ἐστιν ἐπ᾿ αὐτῷ.

22 ἐὰν ἀκοῇ ἀκούσητε τῆς ἐμῆς φωνῆς καὶ ποιήσῃς πάντα, ὅσα ἂν ἐντείλωμαί σοι, καὶ φυλάξητε τὴν διαθήκην μου, ἔσεσθέ μοι λαὸς περιούσιος ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν· ἐμὴ γάρ ἐστι πᾶσα ἡ γῆ, ὑμεῖς δὲ ἔσεσθέ μοι βασίλειον ἱεράτευμα καὶ ἔθνος ἅγιον. ταῦτα τὰ ρήματα ἐρεῖς τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραήλ· ἐὰν ἀκοῇ ἀκούσητε τῆς φωνῆς μου καὶ ποιήσητε πάντα ὅσα ἂν εἴπω σοι, ἐχθρεύσω τοῖς ἐχθροῖς σου καὶ ἀντικείσομαι τοῖς ἀντικειμένοις σοι·

23 πορεύσεται γὰρ ὁ ἄγγελός μου ἡγούμενός σου καὶ εἰσάξει σε πρὸς τὸν ᾿Αμορραῖον καὶ Χετταῖον καὶ Φερεζαῖον καὶ Χαναναῖον καὶ Γεργεσαῖον καὶ Εὐαῖον καὶ ᾿Ιεβουσαῖον, καὶ ἐκτρίψω αὐτούς.

24 οὐ προσκυνήσεις τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν, οὐ δὲ μὴ λατρεύσῃς αὐτοῖς· οὐ ποιήσεις κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν, ἀλλὰ καθαιρέσει καθελεῖς καὶ συντρίβων συντρίψεις τὰς στήλας αὐτῶν.

25 καὶ λατρεύσεις Κυρίῳ τῷ Θεῷ σου, καὶ εὐλογήσω τὸν ἄρτον σου καὶ τὸν οἶνόν σου καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ σου, καὶ ἀποστρέψω μαλακίαν ἀφ᾿ ὑμῶν.

26 οὐκ ἔσται ἄγονος οὐδὲ στείρα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς σου· τὸν ἀριθμὸν τῶν ἡμερῶν σου ἀναπληρῶν ἀναπληρώσω.

27 καὶ τὸν φόβον ἀποστελῶ ἡγούμενόν σου καὶ ἐκστήσω πάντα τά ἔθνη, εἰς οὓς σὺ εἰσπορεύῃ εἰς αὐτούς, καὶ δώσω πάντας τούς ὑπεναντίους σου φυγάδας.

28 καὶ ἀποστελῶ τὰς σφηκίας προτέρας σου, καὶ ἐκβαλεῖς τοὺς ᾿Αμορραίους καὶ τοὺς Εὐαίους καὶ τοὺς Χαναναίους καὶ τοὺς Χετταίους ἀπό σοῦ.

29 οὐκ ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς ἐν ἐνιαυτῷ ἑνί, ἵνα μὴ γένηται ἡ γῆ ἔρημος καὶ πολλὰ γένηται ἐπὶ σὲ τὰ θηρία τῆς γῆς.

30 κατὰ μικρὸν ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ σοῦ, ἕως ἂν αὐξηθῇς καὶ κληρονομήσῃς τὴν γῆν.

31 καὶ θήσω τὰ ὅριά σου ἀπὸ τῆς ἐρυθρᾶς θαλάσσης, ἕως τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς Φυλιστιεὶμ καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς ἐρήμου ἕως τοῦ μεγάλου ποταμοῦ Εὐφράτου· καὶ παραδώσω εἰς τὰς χεῖρας ὑμῶν τοὺς ἐγκαθημένους ἐν τῇ γῇ καὶ ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ σοῦ.

32 οὐ συγκαταθήσῃ αὐτοῖς καὶ τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν διαθήκην,

33 καὶ οὐκ ἐγκαθήσονται ἐν τῇ γῇ σου, ἵνα μὴ ἁμαρτεῖν σε ποιήσωσι πρός με· ἐὰν γὰρ δουλεύσῃς τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν, οὗτοι ἔσονταί σοι πρόσκομμα.

ΚΑΙ Μωυσῇ εἶπεν· ἀνάβηθι πρὸς τὸν Κύριον σὺ καὶ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ Ναδὰβ καὶ ᾿Αβιοὺδ καὶ ἑβδημήκοντα τῶν πρεσβυτέρων ᾿Ισραήλ, καὶ προσκυνήσουσι μακρόθεν τῷ Κυρίῳ·

2 καὶ ἐγγιεῖ Μωυσῆς μόνος πρὸς τὸν Θεόν, αὐτοὶ δὲ οὐκ ἐγγιοῦσιν· ὁ δὲ λαὸς οὐ συναναβήσεται μετ᾿ αὐτῶν.

3 εἰσῆλθε δὲ Μωυσῆς καὶ διηγήσατο τῷ λαῷ πάντα τὰ ρήματα τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα· ἀπεκρίθη δὲ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς φωνῇ μιᾷ λέγοντες· πάντας τοὺς λόγους, οὓς ἐλάλησε Κύριος, ποιήσομεν καὶ ἀκουσόμεθα.

4 καὶ ἔγραψε Μωυσῆς πάντα τὰ ρήματα Κυρίου. ὀρθρίσας δὲ Μωυσῆς τὸ πρωΐ ᾠκοδόμησε θυσιαστήριον ὑπὸ τὸ ὄρος καὶ δώδεκα λίθους εἰς τὰς δώδεκα φυλὰς τοῦ ᾿Ισραήλ·

5 καὶ ἐξαπέστειλε τοὺς νεανίσκους τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ, καὶ ἀνήνεγκαν ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ ἔθυσαν θυσίαν σωτηρίου τῷ Θεῷ μοσχάρια.

6 λαβὼν δὲ Μωυσῆς τὸ ἥμισυ τοῦ αἵματος ἐνέχεεν εἰς κρατῆρας, τὸ δὲ ἥμισυ τοῦ αἵματος προσέχεε πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον.

7 καὶ λαβὼν τὸ βιβλίον τῆς διαθήκης ἀνέγνω εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ λαοῦ, καὶ εἶπαν· πάντα ὅσα ἐλάλησε Κύριος, ποιήσομεν καὶ ἀκουσόμεθα.

8 λαβὼν δὲ Μωυσῆς τὸ αἷμα κατεσκέδασε τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ εἶπεν· ἰδοὺ τὸ αἷμα τῆς διαθήκης, ἧς διέθετο Κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς περὶ πάντων τῶν λόγων τούτων.

9 Καὶ ἀνέβη Μωυσῆς καὶ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ Ναδὰβ καὶ ᾿Αβιοὺδ καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα τῆς γερουσίας ᾿Ισραήλ

10 καὶ εἶδον τὸν τόπον, οὗ εἱστήκει ὁ Θεὸς τοῦ ᾿Ισραήλ· καὶ τά ὑπὸ τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ ἔργον πλίνθου σαπφείρου καὶ ὥσπερ εἶδος στερεώματος τοῦ οὐρανοῦ τῇ καθαριότητι.

11 καὶ τῶν ἐπιλέκτων τοῦ ᾿Ισραὴλ οὐ διεφώνησεν οὐδὲ εἷς· καὶ ὤφθησαν ἐν τῷ τόπῳ τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ ἔφαγον καὶ ἔπιον.

12 καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν· ἀνάβηθι πρός με εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ ἴσθι ἐκεῖ· καὶ δώσω σοι τὰ πυξία τὰ λίθινα, τὸν νόμον καὶ τὰς ἐντολάς, ἃς ἔγραψα νομοθετῆσαι αὐτοῖς.

13 καὶ ἀναστὰς Μωυσῆς καὶ ᾿Ιησοῦς ὁ παρεστηκὼς αὐτῷ ἀνέβησαν εἰς τὸ ὄρος τοῦ Θεοῦ·

14 καὶ τοῖς πρεσβυτέροις εἶπαν· ἡσυχάζετε αὐτοῦ, ἕως ἀναστρέψωμεν πρὸς ὑμᾶς· καὶ ἰδοὺ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ ῍Ωρ μεθ᾿ ὑμῶν· ἐάν τινι συμβῇ κρίσις, προσπορευέσθωσαν αὐτοῖς.

15 καὶ ἀνέβη Μωυσῆς καὶ ᾿Ιησοῦς εἰς τό ὄρος, καί ἐκάλυψεν ἡ νεφέλη τὸ ὄρος.

16 καὶ κατέβη ἡ δόξα τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Σινά, καὶ ἐκάλυψεν αὐτὸ ἡ νεφέλη ἓξ ἡμέρας· καὶ ἐκάλεσε Κύριος τὸν Μωυσῆν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ἐκ μέσου τῆς νεφέλης.

17 τὸ δὲ εἶδος τῆς δόξης Κυρίου ὡσεὶ πῦρ φλέγον ἐπὶ τῆς κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους ἐναντίον τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ.

18 καὶ εἰσῆλθε Μωυσῆς εἰς τὸ μέσον τῆς νεφέλης καὶ ἀνέβη εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ ἐν τῷ ὄρει τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας.

ΚΑΙ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

2 εἰπὸν τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραήλ, καὶ λάβετε ἀπαρχὰς παρὰ πάντων, οἷς ἂν δόξῃ τῇ καρδίᾳ, καὶ λήψεσθε τὰς ἀπαρχάς μου.

3 καὶ αὕτη ἐστὶν ἡ ἀπαρχή, ἣν λήψεσθε παρ᾿ αὐτῶν· χρυσίον καὶ ἀργύριον καὶ χαλκὸν

4 καὶ ὑάκινθον καὶ πορφύραν καὶ κόκκινον διπλοῦν καὶ βύσσον κεκλωσμένην καὶ τρίχας αἰγείας

5 καὶ δέρματα κριῶν ἠρυθροδανωμένα καὶ δέρματα ὑακίνθινα καὶ ξύλα ἄσηπτα

6 καὶ λίθους σαρδίου καὶ λίθους εἰς τὴν γλυφὴν εἰς τὴν ἐπωμίδα καὶ τὸν ποδήρη.

7 καὶ ποιήσεις μοι ἁγίασμα, καὶ ὀφθήσομαι ἐν ὑμῖν·

8 καὶ ποιήσεις μοι κατὰ πάντα ὅσα σοι δεικνύω ἐν τῷ ὄρει, τὸ παράδειγμα τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα πάντων τῶν σκευῶν αὐτῆς· οὕτω ποιήσεις.

9 Καὶ ποιήσεις κιβωτὸν μαρτυρίου ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων, δύο πήχεων καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ μῆκος καὶ πήχεως καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ πλάτος καὶ πήχεως καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ ὕψος.

10 καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτὴν χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ, ἔσωθεν καὶ ἔξωθεν χρυσώσεις αὐτήν· καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτῇ κυμάτια χρυσᾶ στρεπτὰ κύκλῳ.

11 καὶ ἐλάσεις αὐτῇ τέσσαρας δακτυλίους χρυσοῦς καὶ ἐπιθήσεις ἐπὶ τὰ τέσσαρα κλίτη, δύο δακτυλίους ἐπὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ ἓν καὶ δύο δακτυλίους ἐπὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ δεύτερον.

12 ποιήσεις δὲ ἀναφορεῖς ξύλα ἄσηπτα καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτὰ χρυσίῳ·

13 καὶ εἰσάξεις τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς εἰς τοὺς δακτυλίους τοὺς ἐν τοῖς κλίτεσι τῆς κιβωτοῦ αἴρειν τὴν κιβωτὸν ἐν αὐτοῖς·

14 ἐν τοῖς δακτυλίοις τῆς κιβωτοῦ ἔσονται οἱ ἀναφορεῖς ἀκίνητοι.

15 καὶ ἐμβαλεῖς εἰς τὴν κιβωτὸν τὰ μαρτύρια, ἃ ἂν δῷ σοι.

16 καὶ ποιήσεις ἱλαστήριον ἐπίθεμα χρυσίου καθαροῦ, δύο πήχεων καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ μῆκος καί πήχεως καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ πλάτος.

17 καὶ ποιήσεις δύο Χερουβὶμ χρυσοτορευτὰ καὶ ἐπιθήσεις αὐτὰ ἐξ ἀμφοτέρων τῶν κλιτῶν τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου.

18 ποιηθήσονται Χεροὺβ εἷς ἐκ τοῦ κλίτους τούτου καὶ Χεροὺβ εἷς ἐκ τοῦ κλίτους τοῦ δευτέρου τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου· καὶ ποιήσεις τοὺς δύο Χερουβὶμ ἐπὶ τὰ δύο κλίτη.

19 ἔσονται οἱ Χερουβὶμ ἐκτείνοντες τὰς πτέρυγας ἐπάνωθεν, συσκιάζοντες ἐν ταῖς πτέρυξιν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου, καὶ τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν εἰς ἄλληλα· εἰς τὸ ἱλαστήριον ἔσονται τὰ πρόσωπα τῶν Χερουβίμ.

20 καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τὸ ἱλαστήριον ἐπὶ τὴν κιβωτὸν ἄνωθεν· καὶ εἰς τὴν κιβωτὸν ἐμβαλεῖς τὰ μαρτύρια, ἃ ἂν δῷ σοι.

21 καὶ γνωσθήσομαί σοι ἐκεῖθεν καὶ λαλήσω σοι ἄνωθεν τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν δύο Χερουβὶμ τῶν ὄντων ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ κατὰ πάντα, ὅσα ἐὰν ἐντείλωμαί σοι πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς ᾿Ισραήλ.

22 Καὶ ποιήσεις τράπεζαν χρυσῆν χρυσίου καθαροῦ, δύο πήχεων τὸ μῆκος καὶ πήχεως τὸ εὖρος καὶ πήχεως καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ ὕψος.

23 καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτῇ στρεπτὰ κυμάτια χρυσᾶ κύκλῳ. καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτῇ στεφάνην παλαιστοῦ κύκλῳ·

24 καὶ ποιήσεις στρεπτὸν κυμάτιον τῇ στεφάνῃ κύκλῳ.

25 καὶ ποιήσεις τέσσαρας δακτυλίους χρυσοῦς καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τοὺς τέσσαρας δακτυλίους ἐπὶ τὰ τέσσερα μέρη τῶν ποδῶν αὐτῆς ὑπὸ τὴν στεφάνην,

26 καὶ ἔσονται οἱ δακτύλιοι εἰς θήκας τοῖς ἀναφορεῦσιν, ὥστε αἴρειν ἐν αὐτοῖς τὴν τράπεζαν.

27 καὶ ποιήσεις τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτούς χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ, καὶ ἀρθήσεται ἐν αὐτοῖς ἡ τράπεζα.

28 καὶ ποιήσεις τὰ τρυβλία αὐτῆς καὶ τὰς θυΐσκας καὶ τὰ σπονδεῖα καὶ τοὺς κιάθους, ἐν οἷς σπείσεις ἐν αὐτοῖς· ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ ποιήσεις αὐτά.

29 καὶ ἐπιθήσεις ἐπὶ τὴν τράπεζαν ἄρτους ἐνωπίους ἐναντίον μου διαπαντός.

30 Καὶ ποιήσεις λυχνίαν ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ, τορευτὴν ποιήσεις τὴν λυχνίαν· ὁ καυλὸς αὐτῆς καὶ οἱ καλαμίσκοι καὶ οἱ κρατῆρες καὶ οἱ σφαιρωτῆρες καὶ τὰ κρίνα ἐξ αὐτῆς ἔσται.

31 ἓξ δὲ καλαμίσκοι ἐκπορευόμενοι ἐκ πλαγίων, τρεῖς καλαμίσκοι τῆς λυχνίας ἐκ τοῦ κλίτους τοῦ ἑνὸς αὐτῆς καὶ τρεῖς καλαμίσκοι τῆς λυχνίας ἐκ τοῦ κλίτους τοῦ δευτέρου.

32 καὶ τρεῖς κρατῆρες ἐκτετυπωμένοι καρυΐσκους ἐν τῷ ἑνὶ καλαμίσκῳ, σφαιρωτὴρ καὶ κρίνον· οὕτω τοῖς ἓξ καλαμίσκοις τοῖς ἐκπορευομένοις ἐκ τῆς λυχνίας.

33 καὶ ἐν τῇ λυχνίᾳ τέσσαρες κρατῆρες ἐκτετυπωμένοι καρυΐσκους· ἐν τῷ ἑνὶ καλαμίσκῳ σφαιρωτῆρες καὶ τὰ κρίνα αὐτῆς.

34 ὁ σφαιρωτὴρ ὑπὸ τοὺς δύο καλαμίσκους ἐξ αὐτῆς, καὶ σφαιρωτὴρ ὑπὸ τούς τέσσαρας καλαμίσκους ἐξ αὐτῆς· οὕτω τοῖς ἓξ καλαμίσκοις τοῖς ἐκπορευομένοις ἐκ τῆς λυχνίας.

35 καὶ ἐν τῇ λυχνίᾳ τέσσαρες κρατῆρες ἐκτετυπωμένοι καρυΐσκους.

36 οἱ σφαιρωτῆρες καὶ οἱ καλαμίσκοι ἐξ αὐτῆς ἔστωσαν· ὅλη τορευτὴ ἐξ ἑνὸς χρυσίου καθαροῦ.

37 καὶ ποιήσεις τοὺς λύχνους αὐτῆς ἑπτά· καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τοὺς λύχνους, καὶ φανοῦσιν ἐκ τοῦ ἑνὸς προσώπου.

38 καὶ τὸν ἐπαρυστῆρα αὐτῆς καὶ τὰ ὑποθέματα αὐτῆς ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ ποιήσεις.

39 πάντα τὰ σκεύη ταῦτα τάλαντον χρυσίου καθαροῦ.

40 ὅρα, ποιήσεις κατὰ τὸν τύπον τὸν δεδειγμένον σοι ἐν τῷ ὄρει.

ΚΑΙ τὴν σκηνὴν ποιήσεις δέκα αὐλαίας ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου κεκλωσμένου· Χερουβὶμ ἐργασίᾳ ὑφάντου ποιήσεις αὐτάς.

2 μῆκος τῆς αὐλαίας τῆς μιᾶς ὀκτὼ καὶ εἴκοσι πήχεων καὶ εὖρος τεσσάρων πήχεων ἡ αὐλαία ἡ μία ἔσται· μέτρον τὸ αὐτὸ ἔσται πάσαις ταῖς αὐλαίαις.

3 πέντε δὲ αὐλαῖαι ἔσονται ἐξ ἀλλήλων ἐχόμεναι ἡ ἑτέρα ἐκ τῆς ἑτέρας, καὶ πέντε αὐλαῖαι ἔσονται συνεχόμενοι ἑτέρα τῇ ἑτέρᾳ.

4 καὶ ποιήσεις αὐταῖς ἀγκύλας ὑακινθίνας ἐπὶ τοῦ χείλους τῆς αὐλαίας τῆς μιᾶς ἐκ τοῦ ἑνὸς μέρους εἰς τὴν συμβολὴν καὶ οὕτω ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τοῦ χείλους τῆς αὐλαίας τῆς ἐξωτέρας πρὸς τῇ συμβολῇ τῇ δευτέρᾳ.

5 πεντήκοντα ἀγκύλας ποιήσεις τῇ αὐλαίᾳ τῇ μιᾷ, καὶ πεντήκοντα ἀγκύλας ποιήσεις ἐκ τοῦ μέρους τῆς αὐλαίας κατὰ τὴν συμβολὴν τῆς δευτέρας, ἀντιπρόσωποι ἀντιπίπτουσαι ἀλλήλαις εἰς ἑκάστην.

6 καὶ ποιήσεις κρίκους πεντήκοντα χρυσοῦς. καὶ συνάψεις τὰς αὐλαίας ἑτέραν τῇ ἑτέρᾳ τοῖς κρίκοις. καὶ ἔσται ἡ σκηνὴ μία.

7 καὶ ποιήσεις δέρρεις τριχίνας σκέπην ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς, ἕνδεκα δέρρεις ποιήσεις αὐτάς.

8 τὸ μῆκος τῆς δέρρεως τῆς μιᾶς, τριάκοντα πήχεων, καὶ τεσσάρων πήχεων τὸ εὖρος τῆς δέρρεως τῆς μιᾶς· τὸ αὐτὸ μέτρον ἔσται ταῖς ἕνδεκα δέρρεσι.

9 καὶ συνάψεις τὰς πέντε δέρρεις ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό, καὶ τὰς ἓξ δέρρεις ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό. καὶ ἐπιδιπλώσεις τὴν δέρριν τὴν ἕκτην κατὰ πρόσωπον τῆς σκηνῆς.

10 καὶ ποιήσεις ἀγκύλας πεντήκοντα ἐπὶ τοῦ χείλους τῆς δέρρεως τῆς μιᾶς, τῆς ἀνὰ μέσον κατὰ συμβολήν. καὶ πεντήκοντα ἀγκύλας ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τοῦ χείλους τῆς δέρρεως, τῆς συναπτούσης τῆς δευτέρας.

11 καὶ ποιήσεις κρίκους χαλκοῦς πεντήκοντα. καὶ συνάψεις τοὺς κρίκους ἐκ τῶν ἀγκυλῶν, καὶ συνάψεις τὰς δέρρεις, καὶ ἔσται ἕν.

12 καὶ ὑποθήσεις τὸ πλεονάζον ἐν ταῖς δέρρεσι τῆς σκηνῆς. τὸ ἥμισυ τῆς δέρρεως τὸ ὑπολελειμμένον ὑποκαλύψεις εἰς τὸ πλεονάζον τῶν δέρρεων τῆς σκηνῆς. ὑποκαλύψεις ὀπίσω τῆς σκηνῆς.

13 πῆχυν ἐκ τούτου, καὶ πῆχυν ἐκ τούτου, ἐκ τοῦ ὑπερέχοντος τῶν δέρρεων, ἐκ τοῦ μήκους τῶν δέρρεων τῆς σκηνῆς, ἔσται συγκαλύπτον ἐπὶ τὰ πλάγια τῆς σκηνῆς ἔνθεν καὶ ἔνθεν, ἵνα καλύπτῃ.

14 καὶ ποιήσεις κατακάλυμμα τῇ σκηνῇ δέρματα κριῶν ἠρυθροδανωμένα, καὶ ἐπικαλύμματα δέρματα ὑακίνθινα ἐπάνωθεν.

15 καὶ ποιήσεις στύλους τῆς σκηνῆς ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων.

16 δέκα πήχεων ποιήσεις τὸν στύλον τὸν ἕνα, καὶ πήχεως ἑνὸς καὶ ἡμίσους τὸ πλάτος τοῦ στύλου τοῦ ἑνός.

17 δύο ἀγκωνίσκους τῷ στύλῳ τῷ ἑνί, ἀντιπίπτοντας ἕτερον τῷ ἑτέρῳ. οὕτω ποιήσεις πᾶσι τοῖς στύλοις τῆς σκηνῆς.

18 καὶ ποιήσεις στύλους τῇ σκηνῇ, εἴκοσι στύλους ἐκ τοῦ κλίτους τοῦ πρὸς βορρᾶν.

19 καὶ τεσσαράκοντα βάσεις ἀργυρᾶς ποιήσεις τοῖς εἴκοσι στύλοις. δύο βάσεις τῷ στύλῳ τῷ ἑνὶ εἰς ἀμφότερα τὰ μέρη αὐτοῦ. καὶ δύο βάσεις τῷ στύλῳ τῷ ἑνὶ εἰς ἀμφότερα τὰ μέρη αὐτοῦ.

20 καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ δεύτερον τὸ πρὸς νότον, εἴκοσι στύλους.

21 καὶ τεσσαράκοντα βάσεις αὐτῶν ἀργυρᾶς. δύο βάσεις τῷ στύλῳ τῷ ἑνὶ εἰς ἀμφότερα τὰ μέρη αὐτοῦ, καὶ δύο βάσεις τῷ στύλῳ τῷ ἑνὶ εἰς ἀμφότερα τὰ μέρη αὐτοῦ.

22 καὶ ἐκ τῶν ὀπίσω τῆς σκηνῆς κατὰ τὸ μέρος τὸ πρὸς θάλασσαν ποιήσεις ἓξ στύλους.

23 καὶ δύο στύλους ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τῶν γωνιῶν τῆς σκηνῆς ἐκ τῶν ὀπισθίων.

24 καὶ ἔσται ἐξ ἴσου κάτωθεν. κατὰ τὸ αὐτὸ ἔσονται ἴσοι ἐκ τῶν κεφαλῶν εἰς σύμβλησιν μίαν. οὕτω ποιήσεις ἀμφοτέραις ταῖς δυσὶ γωνίαις. ἴσαι ἔστωσαν.

25 καὶ ἔσονται ὀκτὼ στύλοι, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ δέκα ἕξ. δύο βάσεις τῷ ἑνὶ στύλῳ εἰς ἀμφότερα τὰ μέρη αὐτοῦ, καὶ δύο βάσεις τῷ στύλῳ τῷ ἑνί.

26 καὶ ποιήσεις μοχλοὺς ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων· πέντε τῷ ἑνὶ στύλῳ ἐκ τοῦ ἑνὸς μέρους τῆς σκηνῆς,

27 καὶ πέντε μοχλοὺς τῷ στύλῳ τῷ ἑνὶ κλίτει τῆς σκηνῆς τῷ δευτέρῳ, καὶ πέντε μοχλοὺς τῷ στύλῳ τῷ ὀπισθίῳ τῷ κλίτει τῆς σκηνῆς τῷ πρὸς θάλασσαν.

28 καὶ ὁ μοχλὸς ὁ μέσος ἀναμέσον τῶν στύλων διικνείσθω ἀπὸ τοῦ ἑνὸς κλίτους εἰς τὸ ἕτερον κλίτος.

29 καὶ τοὺς στύλους καταχρυσώσεις χρυσίῳ. καὶ τοὺς δακτυλίους ποιήσεις χρυσοῦς, εἰς οὓς εἰσάξεις τοὺς μοχλούς. καὶ καταχρυσώσεις τοὺς μοχλοὺς χρυσίῳ.

30 καὶ ἀναστήσεις τὴν σκηνὴν κατὰ τὸ εἶδος τὸ δεδειγμένον σοι ἐν τῷ ὄρει.

31 καὶ ποιήσεις καταπέτασμα ἐξ ὑακίνθου, καὶ πορφύρας, καὶ κοκκίνου κεκλωσμένου, καί βύσσου νενησμένης. ἔργον ὑφαντὸν ποιήσεις αὐτὸ Χερουβίμ.

32 καὶ ἐπιθήσεις αὐτὸ ἐπί τεσσάρων στύλων ἀσήπτων κεχρυσωμένων χρυσίῳ. καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν χρυσαῖ, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες ἀργυραῖ.

33 καὶ θήσεις τὸ καταπέτασμα ἐπὶ τῶν στύλων. καὶ εἰσοίσεις ἐκεῖ ἐσώτερον τοῦ καταπετάσματος τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ μαρτυρίου. καὶ διοριεῖ τό καταπέτασμα ὑμῖν ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ ἁγίου τῶν ἁγίων.

34 καὶ κατακαλύψεις τῷ καταπετάσματι τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ τῶν ἁγίων.

35 καὶ θήσεις τὴν τράπεζαν ἔξωθεν τοῦ καταπετάσματος καὶ τὴν λυχνίαν ἀπέναντι τῆς τραπέζης ἐπὶ μέρους τῆς σκηνῆς τὸ πρὸς νότον καὶ τὴν τράπεζαν θήσεις ἐπὶ μέρους τῆς σκηνῆς τὸ πρὸς βορρᾶν.

36 καὶ ποιήσεις ἐπίσπαστρον τῇ θύρᾳ τῆς σκηνῆς ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου κεκλωσμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης, ἔργον ποικιλτοῦ.

37 καὶ ποιήσεις τῷ καταπετάσματι πέντε στύλους καὶ χρυσώσεις αὐτοὺς χρυσίῳ, καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν χρυσαῖ, καὶ χωνεύσεις αὐτοῖς πέντε βάσεις χαλκᾶς.

ΚΑΙ ποιήσεις θυσιαστήριον ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων, πέντε πήχεων τὸ μῆκος καὶ πέντε πήχεων τὸ εὖρος, τετράγωνον ἔσται τὸ θυσιαστήριον, καὶ τριῶν πήχεων τὸ ὕψος αὐτοῦ.

2 καὶ ποιήσεις τὰ κέρατα ἐπὶ τῶν τεσσάρων γωνιῶν· ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἔσται τὰ κέρατα· καὶ καλύψεις αὐτὰ χαλκῷ.

3 καὶ ποιήσεις στεφάνην τῷ θυσιαστηρίῳ καὶ τὸν καλυπτῆρα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς φιάλας αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς κρεάγρας αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ· καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ποιήσεις χαλκᾶ.

4 καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτῷ ἐσχάραν ἔργῳ δικτυωτῷ χαλκῆν· καὶ ποιήσεις τῇ ἐσχάρᾳ τέσσαρας δακτυλίους χαλκοῦς ὑπὸ τὰ τέσσαρα κλίτη.

5 καὶ ὑποθήσεις αὐτοὺς ὑπὸ τὴν ἐσχάραν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου κάτωθεν· ἔσται δὲ ἡ ἐσχάρα ἕως τοῦ ἡμίσους τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου.

6 καὶ ποιήσεις τῷ θυσιαστηρίῳ ἀναφορεῖς ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ περιχαλκώσεις αὐτούς χαλκῷ.

7 καὶ εἰσάξεις τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς εἰς τοὺς δακτυλίους, καὶ ἔστωσαν ἀναφορεῖς κατὰ πλευρὰ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ἐν τῷ αἴρειν αὐτό.

8 κοῖλον σανιδωτὸν ποιήσεις αὐτό· κατὰ τὸ παραδεχθέν σοι ἐν τῷ ὄρει, οὕτω ποιήσεις αὐτό.

9 Καὶ ποιήσεις αὐλὴν τῇ σκηνῇ· εἰς τὸ κλίτος τό πρὸς λίβα ἱστία τῆς αὐλῆς ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης, μῆκος ἑκατὸν πήχεων τῷ ἑνὶ κλίτει·

10 καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν εἴκοσι, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν εἴκοσι χαλκαῖ, καὶ οἱ κρίκοι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ ψαλίδες ἀργυραῖ.

11 οὕτως τῷ κλίτει τῷ πρὸς ἀπηλιώτην ἱστία, ἑκατὸν πήχεων μῆκος· καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν εἴκοσι καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν εἴκοσι χαλκαῖ, καὶ οἱ κρίκοι καὶ αἱ ψαλίδες τῶν στύλων, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν περιηργυρωμέναι ἀργυρίῳ.

12 τὸ δὲ εὖρος τῆς αὐλῆς τὸ κατὰ θάλασσαν ἱστία πεντήκοντα πήχεων· στῦλοι αὐτῶν δέκα, καὶ βάσεις αὐτῶν δέκα.

13 καὶ εὖρος τῆς αὐλῆς τῆς πρὸς νότον, ἱστία πεντήκοντα πήχεων· στῦλοι αὐτῶν δέκα, καὶ βάσεις αὐτῶν δέκα.

14 καὶ πεντεκαίδεκα πήχεων τὸ ὕψος τῶν ἱστίων τῷ κλίτει τῷ ἑνί· στῦλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς.

15 καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ δεύτερον δεκαπέντε πήχεων τῶν ἱστίων τὸ ὕψος· στῦλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς.

16 καὶ τῇ πύλῃ τῆς αὐλῆς κάλυμμα, εἴκοσι πήχεων τὸ ὕψος, ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου κεκλωσμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης τῇ ποικιλίᾳ τοῦ ραφιδευτοῦ· στῦλοι αὐτῶν τέσσαρες καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες.

17 πάντες οἱ στῦλοι τῆς αὐλῆς κύκλῳ κατηργυρωμένοι ἀργυρίῳ, καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν χαλκαῖ.

18 τὸ δὲ μῆκος τῆς αὐλῆς ἑκατὸν ἐφ᾿ ἑκατόν, καὶ εὖρος πεντήκοντα ἐπὶ πεντήκοντα, καὶ ὕψος πέντε πήχεων, ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν χαλκαῖ.

19 καὶ πᾶσα ἡ κατασκευὴ καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐργαλεῖα καὶ οἱ πάσσαλοι τῆς αὐλῆς χαλκοῖ.

20 Καὶ σὺ σύνταξον τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ λαβέτωσάν σοι ἔλαιον ἐξ ἐλαιῶν ἄτρυγον καθαρὸν κεκομμένον εἰς φῶς καῦσαι, ἵνα καίηται λύχνος διαπαντός.

21 ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἔξωθεν τοῦ καταπετάσματος τοῦ ἐπὶ τῆς διαθήκης καύσει αὐτὸ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἀφ᾿ ἑσπέρας ἕως πρωΐ ἐναντίον Κυρίου· νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ.

ΚΑΙ σὺ προσαγάγου πρὸς σεαυτὸν τόν τε ᾿Ααρὼν τὸν ἀδελφόν σου καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ ἱερατεύειν μοι, ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ Ναδὰβ καὶ ᾿Αβιοὺδ καὶ ᾿Ελεάζαρ καὶ ᾿Ιθάμαρ υἱοὺς ᾿Ααρών.

2 καὶ ποιήσεις στολὴν ἁγίαν ᾿Ααρὼν τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου εἰς τιμὴν καὶ δόξαν.

3 καὶ σὺ λάλησον πᾶσι τοῖς σοφοῖς τῇ διανοίᾳ, οὓς ἐνέπλησαν πνεύματος σοφίας καὶ αἰσθήσεως, καὶ ποιήσουσι τὴν στολὴν τὴν ἁγίαν ᾿Ααρὼν εἰς τὸ ἅγιον, ἐν ᾗ ἱερατεύσει μοι.

4 καὶ αὗται αἱ στολαί, ἃς ποιήσουσι· τὸ περιστήθιον καὶ τὴν ἐπωμίδα καὶ τὸν ποδήρη καὶ χιτῶνα κοσυμβωτὸν καὶ κίδαριν καὶ ζώνην· καὶ ποιήσουσι στολὰς ἁγίας ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἱερατεύειν μοι.

5 καὶ αὐτοὶ λήψονται τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὸν ὑάκινθον καὶ τὴν πορφύραν καὶ τὸ κόκκινον καὶ τὴν βύσσον.

6 καὶ ποιήσουσι τὴν ἐπωμίδα ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης, ἔργον ὑφαντὸν ποικιλτοῦ·

7 δύο ἐπωμίδες συνέχουσαι ἔσονται αὐτῷ ἑτέρα τὴν ἑτέραν, ἐπὶ τοῖς δυσὶ μέρεσιν ἐξηρτημέναι·

8 καὶ τὸ ὕφασμα τῶν ἐπωμίδων, ὅ ἐστιν ἐπ᾿ αὐτῷ, κατὰ τὴν ποίησιν ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἔσται ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου διανενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης·

9 καὶ λήψῃ τοὺς δύο λίθους, λίθους σμαράγδου, καὶ γλύψεις ἐν αὐτοῖς τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ,

10 ἓξ ὀνόματα ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν ἕνα καὶ τὰ ἓξ ὀνόματα τὰ λοιπὰ ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν δεύτερον κατὰ τὰς γενέσεις αὐτῶν.

11 ἔργον λιθουργικῆς τέχνης, γλύμμα σφραγῖδος, διαγλύψεις τοὺς δύο λίθους ἐπὶ τοῖς ὀνόμασι τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ.

12 καὶ θήσεις τοὺς δύο λίθους ἐπὶ τῶν ὤμων τῆς ἐπωμίδος· λίθοι μνημοσύνου εἰσὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραήλ· καὶ ἀναλήψεται ᾿Ααρὼν τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ ἔναντι Κυρίου ἐπὶ τῶν δύο ὤμων αὐτοῦ, μνημόσυνον περὶ αὐτῶν.

13 καὶ ποιήσεις ἀσπιδίσκας ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ·

14 καὶ ποιήσεις δύο κροσσωτὰ ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ, καταμεμιγμένα ἐν ἄνθεσιν, ἔργον πλοκῆς· καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τὰ κροσσωτὰ τὰ πεπλεγμένα ἐπὶ τὰς ἀσπιδίσκας κατὰ τὰς παρωμίδας αὐτῶν ἐκ τῶν ἐμπροσθίων.

15 καὶ ποιήσεις λογεῖον τῶν κρίσεων, ἔργον ποικιλτοῦ· κατὰ τὸν ρυθμὸν τῆς ἐπωμίδος ποιήσεις αὐτό· ἐκ χρυσίου καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου κεκλωσμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ποιήσεις αὐτό.

16 τετράγωνον ἔσται, διπλοῦν, σπιθαμῆς τὸ μῆκος αὐτοῦ καὶ σπιθαμῆς τὸ εὖρος.

17 καὶ καθυφανεῖς ἐν αὐτῷ ὕφασμα κατάλιθον τετράστιχον. στίχος λίθων ἔσται, σάρδιον, τοπάζιον καὶ σμάραγδος, ὁ στίχος ὁ εἷς·

18 καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ δεύτερος, ἄνθραξ καὶ σάπφειρος καὶ ἴασπις·

19 καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ τρίτος, λιγύριον, ἀχάτης καὶ ἀμέθυστος·

20 καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ τέταρτος, χρυσόλιθος καὶ βηρύλλιον καὶ ὀνύχιον· περικεκαλυμμένα χρυσίῳ, συνδεδεμένα ἐν χρυσίῳ, ἔστωσαν κατὰ στίχον αὐτῶν.

21 καὶ οἱ λίθοι ἔστωσαν ἐκ τῶν ὀνομάτων τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ δεκαδύο κατὰ τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν· γλυφαὶ σφραγίδων, ἕκαστος κατὰ τὸ ὄνομα, ἔστωσαν εἰς δεκαδύο φυλάς.

22 καὶ ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λογεῖον κρωσσοὺς συμπεπλεγμένους, ἔργον ἁλυσιδωτὸν ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ.

23 καὶ λήψεται ᾿Ααρὼν τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ ἐπὶ τοῦ λογείου τῆς κρίσεως ἐπὶ τοῦ στήθους, εἰσιόντι εἰς τὸ ἅγιον, μνημόσυνον ἐναντίον τοῦ Θεοῦ.

24 καὶ θήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λογεῖον τῆς κρίσεως τοὺς κρωσσούς· τὰ ἁλυσιδωτὰ ἐπ᾿ ἀμφοτέρων τῶν κλιτῶν τοῦ λογείου ἐπιθήσεις

25 καὶ τὰς δύο ἀσπιδίσκας ἐπιθήσεις ἐπ᾿ ἀμφοτέρους τοὺς ὤμους τῆς ἐπωμίδος κατὰ πρόσωπον.

26 καὶ ἐπιθήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λογεῖον τῆς κρίσεως τὴν δήλωσιν καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειαν, καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ στήθους ᾿Ααρών, ὅταν εἰσπορεύηται εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἔναντι Κυρίου. καὶ οἴσει ᾿Ααρὼν τὰς κρίσεις τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ ἐπὶ τοῦ στήθους ἔναντι Κυρίου διαπαντός.

27 καὶ ποιήσεις ὑποδύτην ποδήρη ὅλον ὑακίνθινον.

28 καὶ ἔσται τὸ περιστόμιον ἐξ αὐτοῦ μέσον, ὤαν ἔχον κύκλῳ τοῦ περιστομίου, ἔργον ὑφάντου, τὴν συμβολὴν συνυφασμένην ἐξ αὐτοῦ, ἵνα μὴ ραγῇ.

29 καὶ ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λῶμα τοῦ ὑποδύτου κάτωθεν, ὡσεὶ ἐξανθούσης ρόας ροΐσκους ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου διανενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἐπί τοῦ λώματος τοῦ ὑποδύτου κύκλῳ· τὸ αὐτὸ εἶδος ροΐσκους χρυσοῦς καὶ κώδωνας ἀναμέσον τούτων περικύκλῳ·

30 παρὰ ροΐσκον χρυσοῦν κώδωνα καὶ ἄνθινον ἐπὶ τοῦ λώματος τοῦ ὑποδύτου κύκλῳ.

31 καὶ ἔσται ᾿Ααρὼν ἐν τῷ λειτουργεῖν ἀκουστὴ ἡ φωνὴ αὐτοῦ, εἰσιόντι εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἔναντι Κυρίου καὶ ἐξιόντι, ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνῃ.

32 καὶ ποιήσεις πέταλον χρυσοῦν καθαρὸν καὶ ἐκτυπώσεις ἐν αὐτῷ ἐκτύπωμα σφραγῖδος ῾Αγίασμα Κυρίου.

33 καὶ ἐπιθήσεις αὐτὸ ἐπὶ ὑακίνθου κεκλωσμένης, καὶ ἔσται ἐπί τῆς μίτρας· κατά πρόσωποντῆς μίτρας ἔσται.

34 καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ μετώπου ᾿Ααρών, καὶ ἐξαρεῖ ᾿Ααρὼν τὰ ἁμαρτήματα τῶν ἁγίων, ὅσα ἂν ἁγιάσωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ισραήλ, παντὸς δόματος τῶν ἁγίων αὐτῶν· καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ μετώπου ᾿Ααρὼν διαπαντός, δεκτὸναὐτοῖς ἔναντι Κυρίου.

35 καὶ οἱ κοσυμβωτοὶ τῶν χιτώνων ἐκ βύσσου· καὶ ποιήσεις κίδαριν βυσσίνην καὶ ζώνην ποιήσεις, ἔργον ποικιλτοῦ.

36 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ααρὼν ποιήσεις χιτῶνας καὶ ζώνας καὶ κιδάρεις ποιήσεις αὐτοῖς εἰς τιμὴν καὶ δόξαν.

37 καὶ ἐνδύσεις αὐτὰ ᾿Ααρὼν τὸν ἀδελφόν σου, καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ· καὶ χρίσεις αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐμπλήσεις αὐτῶν τὰς χεῖρας καὶ ἁγιάσεις αὐτούς, ἵνα ἱερατεύωσί μοι.

38 καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτοῖς περισκελῆ λινᾶ καλύψαι ἀσχημοσύνην χρωτὸς αὐτῶν· ἀπὸ ὀσφύος ἕως μηρῶν ἔσται.

39 καὶ ἕξει ᾿Ααρὼν αὐτὰ καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ, ὡς ἂν εἰσπορεύωνται εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἢ ὅταν προσπορεύωνται λειτουργεῖν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ ἁγίου, καὶ οὐκ ἐπάξονται πρός ἑαυτοὺς ἁμαρτίαν, ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνωσι· νόμιμον αἰώνιον αὐτῷ καὶ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτοῦ μετ᾿ αὐτόν.

ΚΑΙ ταῦτά ἐστιν, ἃ ποιήσεις αὐτοῖς ἁγιάσαι αὐτούς, ὥστε ἱερατεύειν μοι αὐτούς. λήψῃ μοσχάριον ἐκ βοῶν ἓν καὶ κριοὺς ἀμώμους δύο

2 καὶ ἄρτους ἀζύμους πεφυραμένους ἐν ἐλαίῳ καὶ λάγανα ἄζυμα κεχρισμένα ἐν ἐλαίῳ· σεμίδαλιν ἐκ πυρῶν ποιήσεις αὐτά.

3 καὶ ἐπιθήσεις αὐτὰ ἐπὶ κανοῦν ἓν καὶ προσοίσεις αὐτὰ ἐπὶ τῷ κανῷ καὶ τὸ μοσχάριον καὶ τοὺς δύο κριούς.

4 καὶ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ προσάξεις ἐπὶ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ λούσεις αὐτοὺς ἐν ὕδατι.

5 καὶ λαβὼν τὰς στολάς ἐνδύσεις ᾿Ααρὼν τὸν ἀδελφόν σου καὶ τὸν χιτῶνα τὸν ποδήρη καὶ τὴν ἐπωμίδα καὶ τὸ λογεῖον καὶ συνάψεις αὐτῷ τὸ λογεῖον πρὸς τὴν ἐπωμίδα.

6 καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τὴν μίτραν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τὸ πέταλον τὸ ῾Αγίασμα ἐπὶ τὴ μίτραν.

7 καὶ λήψῃ τοῦ ἐλαίου τοῦ χρίσματος καὶ ἐπιχεεῖς αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ χρίσεις αὐτόν.

8 καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ προσάξεις καὶ ἐνδύσεις αὐτοὺς χιτῶνας

9 καὶ ζώσεις αὐτοὺς ταῖς ζώναις, καὶ περιθήσεις αὐτοῖς τὰς κιδάρεις, καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῖς ἱερατεία μοι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα. καὶ τελειώσεις ᾿Ααρὼν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς χεῖρας τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ.

10 καὶ προσάξεις τὸν μόσχον ἐπὶ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ μόσχου ἔναντι Κυρίου παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου·

11 καὶ σφάξεις τὸν μόσχον ἔναντι Κυρίου παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου.

12 καὶ λήψῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ μόσχου καὶ θήσεις ἐπὶ τῶν κεράτων τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τῷ δακτύλῳ σου· τὸ δὲ λοιπὸν πᾶν αἷμα ἐκχεεῖς παρὰ τὴν βάσιν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου.

13 καὶ λήψῃ πᾶν τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπὶ τῆς κοιλίας καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τοῦ ἥπατος καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφροὺς καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ᾿ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπιθήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον.

14 τὰ δὲ κρέατα τοῦ μόσχου καὶ τὸ δέρμα καὶ τὴν κόπρον κατακαύσεις πυρὶ ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς· ἁμαρτίας γάρ ἐστι.

15 καὶ τὸν κριὸν λήψῃ τὸν ἕνα, καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ κριοῦ·

16 καὶ σφάξεις αὐτὸν καὶ λαβὼν τὸ αἷμα προσχεεῖς πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ.

17 καὶ τὸν κριὸν διχοτομήσεις κατὰ μέλη καὶ πλυνεῖς τὰ ἐνδόσθια καὶ τούς πόδας ὕδατι καὶ ἐπιθήσεις ἐπὶ τὰ διχοτομήματα σὺν τῇ κεφαλῇ.

18 καὶ ἀνοίσεις ὅλον τὸν κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον, ὁλοκαύτωμα τῷ Κυρίῳ εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας· θυσίασμα Κυρίῳ ἐστί.

19 καὶ λήψῃ τὸν κριὸν τὸν δεύτερον, καὶ ἐπιθήσει ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ κριοῦ·

20 καὶ σφάξεις αὐτόν, καὶ λήψῃ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπιθήσεις ἐπὶ τὸν λοβὸν τοῦ ὠτὸς ᾿Ααρὼν τοῦ δεξιοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ ἄκρον τῆς δεξιᾶς χειρὸς καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ ἄκρον τοῦ ποδὸς τοῦ δεξιοῦ, καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς λοβοὺς τῶν ὤτων τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ τῶν δεξιῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ ἄκρα τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν τῶν δεξιῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ ἄκρα τῶν ποδῶν αὐτῶν τῶν δεξιῶν.

21 καὶ λήψῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐλαίου τῆς χρίσεως καὶ ρανεῖς ἐπὶ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν στολὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς στολὰς τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἁγιασθήσεται αὐτὸς καὶ ἡ στολὴ αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ αἱ στολαὶ τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ· τὸ δὲ αἷμα τοῦ κριοῦ προσχεεῖς πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ.

22 καὶ λήψῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ κριοῦ τὸ στέαρ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον τὴν κοιλίαν καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τοῦ ἥπατος καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφροὺς καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ᾿ αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τὸν δεξιόν· ἔστι γὰρ τελείωσις αὕτη·

23 καὶ ἄρτον ἕνα ἐξ ἐλαίου καὶ λάγανον ἓν ἀπὸ τοῦ κανοῦ τῶν ἀζύμων τῶν προτεθειμένων ἔναντι Κυρίου

24 καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τὰ πάντα ἐπὶ τὰς χεῖρας ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς χεῖρας τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀφοριεῖς αὐτὰ ἀφόρισμα ἔναντι Κυρίου.

25 καὶ λήψῃ αὐτὰ ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀνοίσεις ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῆς ὁλοκαυτώσεως εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας ἔναντι Κυρίου· κάρπωμά ἐστι Κυρίῳ.

26 καὶ λήψῃ τὸ στηθύνιον ἀπὸ τοῦ κριοῦ τῆς τελειώσεως, ὅ ἐστιν ᾿Ααρών, καὶ ἀφοριεῖς αὐτὸ ἀφόρισμα ἔναντι Κυρίου, καὶ ἔσται σοι ἐν μερίδι.

27 καὶ ἁγιάσεις τὸ στηθύνιον ἀφόρισμα καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος, ὃς ἀφώρισται καὶ ὃς ἀφῄρηται ἀπὸ τοῦ κριοῦ τῆς τελειώσεως ἀπὸ τοῦ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ,

28 καὶ ἔσται ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ· ἔστι γὰρ ἀφαίρεμα τοῦτο καὶ ἀφαίρεμα ἔσται παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ ἀπὸ τῶν θυμάτων τῶν σωτηρίων τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ, ἀφαίρεμα Κυρίῳ.

29 καὶ ἡ στολὴ τοῦ ἁγίου, ἥ ἐστιν ᾿Ααρών, ἔσται τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ μετ᾿ αὐτόν, χρισθῆναι αὐτοὺς ἐν αὐτοῖς καὶ τελειῶσαι τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν.

30 ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἐνδύσεται αὐτὰ ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ ἀντ᾿ αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ, ὃς εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου λειτουργεῖν ἐν τοῖς ἁγίοις.

31 καὶ τὸν κριὸν τῆς τελειώσεως λήψῃ καὶ ἑψήσεις τὰ κρέα ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ,

32 καὶ ἔδονται ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ τὰ κρέα τοῦ κριοῦ καὶ τοὺς ἄρτους τοὺς ἐν τῷ κανῷ παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου·

33 ἔδονται αὐτά, ἐν οἷς ἡγιάσθησαν ἐν αὐτοῖς τελειῶσαι τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν, ἁγιάσαι αὐτούς, καὶ ἀλλογενὴς οὐκ ἔδεται ἀπ᾿ αὐτῶν· ἔστι γὰρ ἅγια.

34 ἐὰν δὲ καταλειφθῇ ἀπὸ τῶν κρεῶν τῆς θυσίας τῆς τελειώσεως καὶ τῶν ἄρτων ἕως πρωΐ, κατακαύσεις τὰ λοιπὰ πυρί· οὐ βρωθήσεται, ἁγίασμα γάρ ἐστι.

35 καὶ ποιήσεις ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ οὕτω κατὰ πάντα, ὅσα ἐνετειλάμην σοι· ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας τελειώσεις τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν.

36 καὶ τὸ μοσχάριον τῆς ἁμαρτίας ποιήσεις τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ καὶ καθαριεῖς τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἐν τῷ ἁγιάζειν σε ἐπ᾿ αὐτῷ καὶ χρίσεις αὐτὸ ὥστε ἁγιάσαι αὐτό.

37 ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καθαριεῖς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἁγιάσεις αὐτό, καὶ ἔσται τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἅγιον τοῦ ἁγίου· πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ἁγιασθήσεται.

38 Καὶ ταῦτά ἐστιν, ἃ ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου· ἀμνοὺς ἐνιαυσίους ἀμώμους δύο τὴν ἡμέραν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἐνδελεχῶς, κάρπωμα ἐνδελεχισμοῦ.

39 τὸν ἀμνὸν τὸν ἕνα ποιήσεις τὸ πρωΐ καὶ τὸν ἀμνὸν τὸν δεύτερον ποιήσεις τὸ δειλινόν·

40 καὶ δέκατον σεμιδάλεως πεφυραμένης ἐν ἐλαίῳ κεκομμένῳ τῷ τετάρτῳ τοῦ εἲν καὶ σπονδὴν τὸ τέταρτον τοῦ εἲν οἴνου τῷ ἀμνῷ τῷ ἑνί·

41 καὶ τὸν ἀμνὸν τὸν δεύτερον ποιήσεις τὸ δειλινόν, κατὰ τὴν θυσίαν τὴν πρωϊνὴν καὶ κατὰ τὴν σπονδὴν αὐτοῦ ποιήσεις εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας, κάρπωμα Κυρίῳ,

42 θυσίαν ἐνδελεχισμοῦ εἰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν, ἐπὶ θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἔναντι Κυρίου, ἐν οἷς γνωσθήσομαί σοι ἐκεῖθεν, ὥστε λαλῆσαί σοι.

43 καὶ τάξομαι ἐκεῖ τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ ἁγιασθήσομαι ἐν δόξῃ μου·

44 καὶ ἁγιάσω τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ ἁγιάσω ἱερατεύειν μοι.

45 καὶ ἐπικληθήσομαι ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ ἔσομαι αὐτῶν Θεός,

46 καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς αὐτῶν, ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου, ἐπικληθῆναι αὐτοῖς καὶ εἶναι αὐτῶν Θεός.

ΚΑΙ ποιήσεις θυσιαστήριον θυμιάματος ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων·

2 καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτὸ πήχεως τὸ μῆκος καὶ πήχεως τὸ εὖρος, τετράγωνον ἔσται, καὶ δύο πήχεων τὸ ὕψος· ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἔσται τὰ κέρατα αὐτοῦ.

3 καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτὰ χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ, τὴν ἐσχάραν αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς τοίχους αὐτοῦ κύκλῳ καὶ τὰ κέρατα αὐτοῦ, καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτῷ στρεπτὴν στεφάνην χρυσῆν κύκλῳ.

4 καὶ δύο δακτυλίους χρυσοῦς καθαροὺς ποιήσεις ὑπὸ τὴν στρεπτὴν στεφάνην αὐτοῦ, εἰς τὰ δύο κλίτη ποιήσεις ἐν τοῖς δυσὶ πλευροῖς· καὶ ἔσονται ψαλίδες ταῖς σκυτάλαις, ὥστε αἴρειν αὐτὸ ἐν αὐταῖς.

5 καὶ ποιήσεις σκυτάλας ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτὰς χρυσίῳ.

6 καὶ θήσεις αὐτὸ ἀπέναντι τοῦ καταπετάσματος τοῦ ὄντος ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ τῶν μαρτυρίων, ἐν οἶς γνωσθήσομαί σοι ἐκεῖθεν.

7 καὶ θυμιάσει ἀπ᾿ αὐτοῦ ᾿Ααρὼν θυμίαμα σύνθετον λεπτόν· τὸ πρωΐ πρωΐ, ὅταν ἐπισκευάζῃ τοὺς λύχνους, θυμιάσει ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῦ,

8 καὶ ὅταν ἐξάπτῃ ᾿Ααρὼν τοὺς λύχνους ὀψέ, θυμιάσει ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῦ· θυμίαμα ἐνδελεχισμοῦ διὰ παντὸς ἔναντι Κυρίου εἰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν.

9 καὶ οὐκ ἀνοίσεις ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῦ θυμίαμα ἕτερον, κάρπωμα, θυσίαν· καὶ σπονδὴν οὐ σπείσεις ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῦ.

10 καὶ ἐξιλάσεται ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῦ ᾿Ααρὼν ἐπὶ τῶν κεράτων αὐτοῦ ἅπαξ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ· ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ καθαριεῖ αὐτὸ εἰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν· ἅγιον τῶν ἁγίων ἐστὶ Κυρίῳ.

11 Καὶ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

12 ἐὰν λάβῃς τὸν συλλογισμὸν τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ ἐν τῇ ἐπισκοπῇ αὐτῶν, καὶ δώσουσιν ἕκαστος λύτρα τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ Κυρίῳ, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἐν αὐτοῖς πτῶσις ἐν τῇ ἐπισκοπῇ αὐτῶν.

13 καὶ τοῦτό ἐστιν ὃ δώσουσιν ὅσοι ἂν παραπορεύωνται τὴν ἐπίσκεψιν· τὸ ἥμισυ τοῦ διδράχμου, ὅ ἐστιν κατὰ τὸ δίδραχμον τὸ ἅγιον· εἴκοσιν ὀβολοὶ τὸ δίδραχμον, τὸ δὲ ἥμισυ τοῦ διδράχμου εἰσφορὰ Κυρίῳ.

14 πᾶς ὁ παραπορευόμενος εἰς τὴν ἐπίσκεψιν ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, δώσουσι τὴν εἰσφορὰν Κυρίῳ.

15 ὁ πλουτῶν οὐ προσθήσει καὶ ὁ πενόμενος οὐκ ἐλαττονήσει ἀπὸ τοῦ ἡμίσους τοῦ διδράχμου ἐν τῷ διδόναι τὴν εἰσφορὰν Κυρίῳ ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ τῶν ψυχῶν ὑμῶν.

16 καὶ λήψῃ τὸ ἀργύριον τῆς εἰσφορᾶς παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ δώσεις αὐτὸ εἰς τὸ κάτεργον τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ ἔσται τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ μνημόσυνον ἔναντι Κυρίου ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ τῶν ψυχῶν ὑμῶν.

17 Καὶ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

18 ποίησον λουτῆρα χαλκοῦν καὶ βάσιν αὐτῷ χαλκῆν, ὥστε νίπτεσθαι· καὶ θήσεις αὐτὸν ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ ἐκχεεῖς εἰς αὐτὸν ὕδωρ,

19 καὶ νίψεται ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἐξ αὐτοῦ τὰς χεῖρας καὶ τοὺς πόδας ὕδατι.

20 ὅταν εἰσπορεύωνται εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου, νίψονται ὕδατι καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνωσιν· ἢ ὅταν προσπορεύωνται πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον λειτουργεῖν κα’Ι ἀναφέρειν τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα Κυρίῳ,

21 νίψονται τὰς χεῖρας καὶ τοὺς πόδας ὕδατι· ὅταν εἰσπορεύωνται εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου, νίψονται ὕδατι, ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνωσι· καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῖς νόμιμον αἰώνιον, αὐτῷ καὶ ταῖς γενεαῖς αὐτοῦ μετ᾿ αὐτόν.

22 καὶ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

23 καὶ σὺ λάβε ἡδύσματα, τὸ ἄνθος σμύρνης ἐκλεκτῆς πεντακοσίους σίκλους καὶ κινναμώμου εὐώδους τὸ ἥμισυ τούτου διακοσίους πεντήκοντα καὶ καλάμου εὐώδους διακοσίους πεντήκοντα

24 καὶ ἴρεως πεντακοσίους σίκλους τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ ἔλαιον ἐξ ἐλαιῶν εἲν

25 καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτὸ ἔλαιον χρῖσμα ἅγιον, μύρον μυρεψικὸν τέχνῃ μυρεψοῦ· ἔλαιον χρῖσμα ἅγιον ἔσται.

26 καὶ χρίσεις ἐξ αὐτοῦ τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου

27 καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν λυχνίαν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ θυμιάματος

28 καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων καὶ πάντα αὐτοῦ τὰ σκεύη καὶ τὴν τράπεζαν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς καὶ τὸν λουτῆρα καὶ τὴν βάσιν αὐτοῦ

29 καὶ ἁγιάσεις αὐτά, καὶ ἔσται ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων· πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος αὐτῶν ἁγιασθήσεται.

30 καὶ ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ χρίσεις καὶ ἁγιάσεις αὐτοὺς ἱερατεύειν μοι.

31 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ λαλήσεις λέγων· ἔλαιον ἄλειμμα χρίσεως ἅγιον ἔσται τοῦτο ὑμῖν εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν.

32 ἐπὶ σάρκα ἀνθρώπου οὐ χρισθήσεται, καὶ κατὰ τὴν σύνθεσιν ταύτην οὐ ποιήσετε ὑμῖν ἑαυτοῖς ὡσαύτως· ἅγιόν ἐστι καὶ ἁγίασμα ἔσται ὑμῖν.

33 ὃς ἂν ποιήσῃ ὡσαύτως, καὶ ὃς ἂν δῷ ἀπ᾿ αὐτοῦ ἀλλογενεῖ, ἐξολοθρευθήσεται ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ.

34 καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν· λάβε σεαυτῷ ἡδύσματα, στακτήν, ὄνυχα, χαλβάνην ἡδυσμοῦ καὶ λίβανον διαφανῆ, ἴσον ἴσῳ ἔσται·

35 καὶ ποιήσουσιν ἐν αὐτῷ θυμίαμα, μυρεψικὸν ἔργον μυρεψοῦ, μεμιγμένον, καθαρόν, ἔργον ἅγιον.

36 καὶ συγκόψεις ἐκ τούτων λεπτὸν καὶ θήσεις ἀπέναντι τῶν μαρτυρίων ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου, ὅθεν γνωσθήσομαί σοι ἐκεῖθεν· ἅγιον τῶν ἁγίων ἔσται ὑμῖν.

37 θυμίαμα κατὰ τὴν σύνθεσιν ταύτην οὐ ποιήσετε ὑμῖν ἑαυτοῖς· ἁγίασμα ἔσται ὑμῖν Κυρίῳ·

38 ὃς ἂν ποιήσῃ ὡσαύτως ὥστε ὀσφραίνεσθαι ἐν αὐτῷ, ἀπολεῖται ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ.

And these are the ordinances which thou shalt set before them.

2 If thou buy a Hebrew servant, six years shall he serve thee, and in the seventh year he shall go forth free for nothing.

3 If he should have come in alone, he shall also go forth alone; and if his wife should have gone in together with him, his wife also shall go out.

4 Moreover, if his master give him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters, the wife and the children shall be his master’s; and he shall go forth alone.

5 And if the servant should answer and say, I love my master and wife and children, I will not go away free;

6 his master shall bring him to the judgment-seat of God, and then shall he bring him to the door, —to the door-post, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for ever.

7 And if any one sell his daughter as a domestic, she shall not depart as the maid-servants depart.

8 If she be not pleasing to her master, after she has betrothed herself to him, he shall let her go free; but he is not at liberty to sell her to a foreign nation, because he has trifled with her.

9 And if he should have betrothed her to his son, he shall do to her according to the right of daughters.

10 And if he take another to himself, he shall not deprive her of necessaries and her apparel, and her companionship with him.

11 And if he will not do these three things to her, she shall go out free without money.

12 And if any man smite another and he die, let him be certainly put to death.

13 But as for him that did it not willingly, but God delivered him into his hands, I will give thee a place whither the slayer may flee.

14 And if any one lie in wait for his neighbour to slay him by craft, and he go for refuge, thou shalt take him from my altar to put him to death.

15 Whoever smites his father or his mother, let him be certainly put to death.

16 He that reviles his father or his mother shall surely die.

17 Whosoever shall steal one of the children of Israel, and prevail over him and sell him, and he be found with him, let him certainly die.

18 And if two men revile each other and smite the one the other with a stone or his fist, and he die not, but be laid upon his bed;

19 if the man arise and walk abroad on his staff, he that smote him shall be clear; only he shall pay for his loss of time, and for his healing.

20 And if a man smite his man-servant or his maid-servant, with a rod, and the party die under his hands, he shall be surely punished.

21 But if the servant continue to live a day or two, let not the master be punished; for he is his money.

22 And if two men strive and smite a woman with child, and her child be born imperfectly formed, he shall be forced to pay a penalty: as the woman’s husband may lay upon him, he shall pay with a valuation.

23 But if it be perfectly formed, he shall give life for life,

24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

25 burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

26 And if one smite the eye of his man-servant, or the eye of his maid-servant, and put it out, he shall let them go free for their eye’s sake.

27 And if he should smite out the tooth of his man-servant, or the tooth of his maid-servant, he shall send them away free for their tooth’s sake.

28 And if a bull gore a man or woman and they die, the bull shall be stoned with stones, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the bull shall be clear.

29 But if the bull should have been given to goring in former time, and men should have told his owner, and he have not removed him, but he should have slain a man or woman, the bull shall be stoned, and his owner shall die also.

30 And if a ransom should be imposed on him, he shall pay for the ransom of his soul as much as they shall lay upon him.

31 And if the bull gore a son or daughter, let them do to him according to this ordinance.

32 And if the bull gore a man-servant or maid-servant, he shall pay to their master thirty silver didrachms, and the bull shall be stoned.

33 And if any one open a pit or dig a cavity in stone, and cover it not, and an ox or an ass fall in there,

34 the owner of the pit shall make compensation; he shall give money to their owner, and the dead shall be his own.

35 And if any man’s bull gore the bull of his neighbour, and it die, they shall sell the living bull and divide the money, and they shall divide the dead bull.

36 But if the bull be known to have been given to goring in time past, and they have testified to his owner, and he have not removed him, he shall repay bull for bull, but the dead shall be his own.

And if one steal an ox or a sheep, and kill it or sell it, he shall pay five calves for a calf, and four sheep for a sheep.

2 And if the thief be found in the breach made by himself and be smitten and die, there shall not be blood shed for him.

3 But if the sun be risen upon him, he is guilty, he shall die instead; and if a thief have nothing, let him be sold in compensation for what he has stolen.

4 And if the thing stolen be left and be in his hand alive, whether ox or sheep, he shall restore them two-fold.

5 And if any one should feed down a field or a vineyard, and should send in his beast to feed down another field, he shall make compensation of his own field according to his produce; and if he shall have fed down the whole field, he shall pay for compensation the best of his own field and the best of his vineyard.

6 And if fire have gone forth and caught thorns, and should also set on fire threshing-floors or ears of corn or a field, he that kindled the fire shall make compensation.

7 And if any one give to his neighbour money or goods to keep, and they be stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief be found he shall repay double.

8 But if the thief be not found, the master of the house shall come forward before God, and shall swear that surely he has not wrought wickedly in regard of any part of his neighbour’s deposit,

9 according to every injury alleged, both concerning a calf, and an ass, and a sheep, and a garment, and every alleged loss, whatsoever in fact it may be, —the judgment of both shall proceed before God, and he that is convicted by God shall repay to his neighbour double.

10 And if any one give to his neighbour to keep a calf or sheep or any beast, and it be wounded or die or be taken, and no one know,

11 an oath of God shall be between both, each swearing that he has surely not at all been guilty in the matter of his neighbour’s deposit; and so his master shall hold him guiltless, and he shall not make compensation.

12 And if it be stolen from him, he shall make compensation to the owner.

13 And if it be seized of beasts, he shall bring him to witness the prey, and he shall not make compensation.

14 And if any one borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be wounded or die or be carried away, and the owner of it be not with it, he shall make compensation.

15 But if the owner be with it, he shall not make compensation: but if it be a hired thing, there shall be a compensation to him instead of his hire.

16 And if any one deceive a virgin that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her for a wife to himself.

17 And if her father positively refuse, and will not consent to give her to him for a wife, he shall pay compensation to her father according to the amount of the dowry of virgins.

18 Ye shall not save the lives of sorcerers.

19 Every one that lies with a beast ye shall surely put to death.

20 He that sacrifices to any gods but to the Lord alone, shall be destroyed by death.

21 And ye shall not hurt a stranger, nor afflict him; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

22 Ye shall hurt no widow or orphan.

23 And if ye should afflict them by ill-treatment, and they should cry aloud to me, I will surely hear their voice.

24 And I will be very angry, and will slay you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows and your children orphans.

25 And if thou shouldest lend money to thy poor brother who is by thee, thou shalt not be hard upon him thou shalt not exact usury of him.

26 And if thou take thy neighbour’s garment for a pledge, thou shalt restore it to him before sunset.

27 For this is his clothing, this is the only covering of his nakedness; wherein shall he sleep? If then he shall cry to me, I will hearken to him, for I am merciful.

28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor speak ill of the ruler of thy people.

29 Thou shalt not keep back the first-fruits of thy threshing floor and press. The first-born of thy sons thou shalt give to me.

30 So shalt thou do with thy calf and thy sheep and thine ass; seven days shall it be under the mother, and the eighth day thou shalt give it to me.

31 And ye shall be holy men to me; and ye shall not eat flesh taken of beasts, ye shall cast it to the dog.

Thou shalt not receive a vain report: thou shalt not agree with the unjust man to become an unjust witness.

2 Thou shalt not associate with the multitude for evil; thou shalt not join thyself with a multitude to turn aside with the majority so as to shut out judgment.

3 And thou shalt not spare a poor man in judgment.

4 And if thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt turn them back and restore them to him.

5 And if thou see thine enemy’s ass fallen under its burden, thou shalt not pass by it, but shalt help to raise it with him.

6 Thou shalt not wrest the sentence of the poor in his judgment.

7 Thou shalt abstain from every unjust thing: thou shalt not slay the innocent and just, and thou shalt not justify the wicked for gifts.

8 And thou shalt not receive gifts; for gifts blind the eyes of the seeing, and corrupt just words.

9 And ye shall not afflict a stranger, for ye know the heart of a stranger; for ye were yourselves strangers in the land of Egypt.

10 Six years thou shalt sow thy land, and gather in the fruits of it.

11 But in the seventh year thou shalt let it rest, and leave it, and the poor of thy nation shall feed; and the wild beasts of the field shall eat that which remains: thus shalt thou do to thy vineyard and to thine oliveyard.

12 Six days shalt thou do thy works, and on the seventh day there shall be rest, that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and that the son of thy maid-servant and the stranger may be refreshed.

13 Observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and ye shall make no mention of the name of other gods, neither shall they be heard out of your mouth.

14 Keep ye a feast to me three times in the year.

15 Take heed to keep the feast of unleavened bread: seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread, as I charged thee at the season of the month of new corn, for in it thou camest out of Egypt: thou shalt not appear before me empty.

16 And thou shalt keep the feast of the harvest of first-fruits of thy labours, whatsoever thou shalt have sown in thy field, and the feast of completion at the end of the year in the gathering in of thy fruits out of thy field.

17 Three times in the year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God.

18 For when I shall have cast out the nations from before thee, and shall have widened thy borders, thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven, neither must the fat of my feast abide till the morning.

19 Thou shalt bring the first-offerings of the first-fruits of thy land into the house of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a lamb in its mother’s milk.

20 And, behold, I send my angel before thy face, that he may keep thee in the way, that he may bring thee into the land which I have prepared for thee.

21 Take heed to thyself and hearken to him, and disobey him not; for he will not give way to thee, for my name is on him.

22 If ye will indeed hear my voice, and if thou wilt do all the things I shall charge thee with, and keep my covenant, ye shall be to me a peculiar people above all nations, for the whole earth is mine; and ye shall be to me a royal priesthood, and a holy nation: these words shall ye speak to the children of Israel, If ye shall indeed hear my voice, and do all the things I shall tell thee, I will be an enemy to thine enemies, and an adversary to thine adversaries.

23 For my angel shall go as thy leader, and shall bring thee to the Amorite, and Chettite, and Pherezite, and Chananite, and Gergesite, and Evite, and Jebusite, and I will destroy them.

24 Thou shalt not worship their gods, nor serve them: thou shalt not do according to their works, but shalt utterly destroy them, and break to pieces their pillars.

25 And thou shalt serve the Lord thy God, and I will bless thy bread and thy wine and thy water, and I will turn away sickness from you.

26 There shall not be on thy land one that is impotent or barren. I will surely fulfil the number of thy days.

27 And I will send terror before thee, and I will strike with amazement all the nations to which thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies to flee.

28 And I will send hornets before thee, and thou shalt cast out the Amorites and the Evites, and the Chananites and the Chettites from thee.

29 I will not cast them out in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the beasts of the field multiply against thee.

30 By little and little I will cast them out from before thee, until thou shalt be increased and inherit the earth.

31 And I will set thy borders from the Red Sea, to the sea of the Phylistines, and from the wilderness to the great river Euphrates; and I will give into your hand those that dwell in the land, and will cast them out from thee.

32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them and their gods.

33 And they shall not dwell in thy land, lest they cause thee to sin against me; for if thou shouldest serve their gods, these will be an offence to thee.

And to Moses he said, Go up to the Lord, thou and Aaron and Nadab and Abiud, and seventy of the elders of Israel: and they shall worship the Lord from a distance.

2 And Moses alone shall draw nigh to God; and they shall not draw nigh, and the people shall not come up with them.

3 And Moses went in and related to the people all the words of God and the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, saying, All the words which the Lord has spoken, we will do and be obedient.

4 And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and set up twelve stones for the twelve tribes of Israel.

5 And he sent forth the young men of the children of Israel, and they offered whole burnt-offerings, and they sacrificed young calves as a peace-offering to God.

6 And Moses took half the blood and poured it into bowls, and half the blood he poured out upon the altar.

7 And he took the book of the covenant and read it in the ears of the people, and they said, All things whatsoever the Lord has spoken we will do and hearken therein.

8 And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it upon the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has made with you concerning all these words.

9 And Moses went up, and Aaron, and Nadab and Abiud, and seventy of the elders of Israel.

10 And they saw the place where the God of Israel stood; and under his feet was as it were a work of sapphire slabs, and as it were the appearance of the firmament of heaven in its purity.

11 And of the chosen ones of Israel there was not even one missing, and they appeared in the place of God, and did eat and drink.

12 And the Lord said to Moses, Come up to me into the mountain, and be there; and I will give thee the tables of stone, the law and the commandments, which I have written to give them laws.

13 And Moses rose up and Joshua his attendant, and they went up into the mount of God.

14 And to the elders they said, Rest there till we return to you; and behold, Aaron and Or are with you: if any man have a cause to be tried, let them go to them.

15 And Moses and Joshua went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

16 And the glory of God came down upon the mount Sina, and the cloud covered it six days; and the Lord called Moses on the seventh day out of the midst of the cloud.

17 And the appearance of the glory of the Lord was as burning fire on the top of the mountain, before the children of Israel.

18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and went up to the mountain, and was there in the mountain forty days and forty nights.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to the children of Israel, and take first-fruits of all, who may be disposed in their heart to give; and ye shall take my first-fruits.

3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold and silver and brass,

4 and blue, and purple, and double scarlet, and fine spun linen, and goats’ hair,

5 and rams’ skins dyed red, and blue skins, and incorruptible wood,

6 and sardius stones, and stones for the carved work of the breast-plate, and the full-length robe.

7 And thou shalt make me a sanctuary, and I will appear among you.

8 And thou shalt make for me according to all things which I shew thee in the mountain; even the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all its furniture: so shalt thou make it.

9 And thou shalt make the ark of testimony of incorruptible wood; the length of two cubits and a half, and the breadth of a cubit and a half, and the height of a cubit and a half.

10 And thou shalt gild it with pure gold, thou shalt gild it within and without; and thou shalt make for it golden wreaths twisted round about.

11 And thou shalt cast for it four golden rings, and shalt put them on the four sides; two rings on the one side, and two rings on the other side.

12 And thou shalt make staves of incorruptible wood, and shalt gild them with gold.

13 And thou shalt put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, to bear the ark with them.

14 The staves shall remain fixed in the rings of the ark.

15 And thou shalt put into the ark the testimonies which I shall give thee.

16 And thou shalt make a propitiatory, a lid of pure gold; the length of two cubits and a half, and the breadth of a cubit and a half.

17 And thou shalt make two cherubs graven in gold, and thou shalt put them on both sides of the propitiatory.

18 They shall be made, one cherub on this side, and another cherub on the other side of the propitiatory; and thou shalt make the two cherubs on the two sides.

19 The cherubs shall stretch forth their wings above, overshadowing the propitiatory with their wings; and their faces shall be toward each other, the faces of the cherubs shall be toward the propitiatory.

20 And thou shalt set the propitiatory on the ark above, and thou shalt put into the ark the testimonies which I shall give thee.

21 And I will make myself known to thee from thence, and I will speak to thee above the propitiatory between the two cherubs, which are upon the ark of testimony, even in all things which I shall charge thee concerning the children of Israel.

22 And thou shalt make a golden table of pure gold, in length two cubits, and in breadth a cubit, and in height a cubit and a half.

23 And thou shalt make for it golden wreaths twisted round about, and thou shalt make for it a crown of an hand-breadth round about.

24 And thou shalt make a twisted wreath for the crown round about.

25 And thou shalt make four golden rings; and thou shalt put the four rings upon the four parts of its feet under the crown.

26 And the rings shall be for bearings for the staves, that they may bear the table with them.

27 And thou shalt make the staves of incorruptible wood, and thou shalt gild them with pure gold; and the table shall be borne with them.

28 And thou shalt make its dishes and its censers, and its bowls, and its cups, with which thou shalt offer drink-offerings: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

29 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me continually.

30 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold; thou shalt make the candlestick of graven work: its stem and its branches, and its bowls and its knops and its lilies shall be of one piece.

31 And six branches proceeding sideways, three branches of the candlestick from one side of it, and three branches of the candlestick from the other side.

32 And three bowls fashioned like almonds, on each branch a knop and a lily; so to the six branches proceeding from the candlestick,

33 and in the candlestick four bowls fashioned like almonds, in each branch knops and the flowers of the same.

34 A knop under two branches out of it, and a knop under four branches out of it; so to the six branches proceeding from the candlestick;

35 and in the candlestick four bowls fashioned like almonds.

36 Let the knops and the branches be of one piece, altogether graven of one piece of pure gold.

37 And thou shalt make its seven lamps: and thou shalt set on it the lamps, and they shall shine from one front.

38 And thou shalt make its funnel and its snuff-dishes of pure gold.

39 All these articles shall be a talent of pure gold.

40 See, thou shalt make them according to the pattern shewed thee in the mount.

And thou shalt make the tabernacle, ten curtains of fine linen spun, and blue and purple, and scarlet spun with cherubs; thou shalt make them with work of a weaver.

2 The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and one curtain shall be the breadth of four cubits: there shall be the same measure to all the curtains.

3 And the five curtains shall be joined one to another, and the other five curtains shall be closely connected the one with the other.

4 And thou shalt make for them loops of blue on the edge of one curtain, on one side for the coupling, and so shalt thou make on the edge of the outer curtain for the second coupling.

5 Fifty loops shalt thou make for one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make on the part of the curtain answering to the coupling of the second, opposite each other, corresponding to each other at each point.

6 And thou shalt make fifty golden rings; and thou shalt join the curtains to each other with the rings, and it shall be one tabernacle.

7 And thou shalt make for a covering of the tabernacle skins with the hair on, thou shalt make them eleven skins.

8 The length of one skin thirty cubits, and the breadth of one skin four cubits: there shall be the same measure to the eleven skins.

9 And thou shalt join the five skins together, and the six skins together; and thou shalt double the sixth skin in front of the tabernacle.

10 And thou shalt make fifty loops on the border of one skin, which is in the midst for the joinings; and thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the second skin that joins it.

11 And thou shalt make fifty brazen rings; and thou shalt join the rings by the loops, and thou shalt join the skins, and they shall be one.

12 And thou shalt fix at the end that which is over in the skins of the tabernacle; the half of the skin that is left shalt thou fold over, according to the overplus of the skins of the tabernacle; thou shalt fold it over behind the tabernacle.

13 A cubit an this side, and a cubit on that side of that which remains of the skins, of the length of the skins of the tabernacle: it shall be folding over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and that side, that it may cover it.

14 And thou shalt make for a covering of the tabernacle rams’ skins dyed red, and blue skins as coverings above.

15 And thou shalt make the posts of the tabernacle of incorruptible wood.

16 Of ten cubits shalt thou make one post, and the breadth of one post of a cubit and a half.

17 Two joints shalt thou make in one post, answering the one to the other: so shalt thou do to all the posts of the tabernacle.

18 And thou shalt make posts to the tabernacle, twenty posts on the north side.

19 And thou shalt make to the twenty posts forty silver sockets; two sockets to one post on both its sides, and two sockets to the other post on both its sides.

20 And for the next side, toward the south, twenty posts,

21 and their forty silver sockets: two sockets to one post on both its sides, and two sockets to the other post on both its sides.

22 And on the back of the tabernacle at the part which is toward the west thou shalt make six posts.

23 And thou shalt make two posts on the corners of the tabernacle behind.

24 And it shall be equal below, they shall be equal toward the same part from the heads to one joining; so shalt thou make to both the two corners, let them be equal.

25 And there shall be eight posts, and their sixteen silver sockets; two sockets to one post on both its sides, and two sockets to the other post.

26 And thou shalt make bars of incorruptible wood; five to one post on one side of the tabernacle,

27 and five bars to one post on the second side of the tabernacle, and five bars to the hinder posts, on the side of the tabernacle toward the sea.

28 And let the bar in the middle between the posts go through from the one side to the other side.

29 And thou shalt gild the posts with gold; and thou shalt make golden rings, into which thou shalt introduce the bars, and thou shalt gild the bars with gold.

30 And thou shalt set up the tabernacle according to the pattern shewed thee in the mount.

31 And thou shalt make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet woven, and fine linen spun: thou shalt make it cherubs in woven work.

32 And thou shalt set it upon four posts of incorruptible wood overlaid with gold; and their tops shall be gold, and their four sockets shall be of silver.

33 And thou shalt put the veil on the posts, and thou shalt carry in thither within the veil the ark of the testimony; and the veil shall make a separation for you between the holy and the holy of holies.

34 And thou shalt screen with the veil the ark of the testimony in the holy of holies.

35 And thou shalt set the table outside the veil, and the candlestick opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle; and thou shalt put the table on the north side of the tabernacle.

36 And thou shalt make a screen for the door of the tabernacle of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet and fine linen spun, the work of the embroiderer.

37 And thou shalt make for the veil five posts, and thou shalt gild them with gold; and their chapiters shall be gold; and thou shalt cast for them five brazen sockets.

And thou shalt make an altar of incorruptible wood, of five cubits in the length, and five cubits in the breadth; the altar shall be square, and the height of it shall be of three cubits.

2 And thou shalt make the horns on the four corners; the horns shall be of the same piece, and thou shalt overlay them with brass.

3 And thou shalt make a rim for the altar; and its covering and its cups, and its flesh-hooks, and its fire-pan, and all its vessels shalt thou make of brass.

4 And thou shalt make for it a brazen grate with net-work; and thou shalt make for the grate four brazen rings under the four sides.

5 And thou shalt put them below under the grate of the altar, and the grate shall extend to the middle of the altar.

6 And thou shalt make for the altar staves of incorruptible wood, and thou shalt overlay them with brass.

7 And thou shalt put the staves into the rings; and let the staves be on the sides of the altar to carry it.

8 Thou shalt make it hollow with boards: according to what was shewed thee in the mount, so thou shalt make it.

9 And thou shalt make a court for the tabernacle, curtains of the court of fine linen spun on the south side, the length of a hundred cubits for one side.

10 And their pillars twenty, and twenty brazen sockets for them, and their rings and their clasps of silver.

11 Thus shall there be to the side toward the north curtains of a hundred cubits in length; and their pillars twenty, and their sockets twenty of brass, and the rings and the clasps of the pillars, and their sockets overlaid with silver.

12 And in the breadth of the tabernacle toward the west curtains of fifty cubits, their pillars ten and their sockets ten.

13 And in the breadth of the tabernacle toward the south, curtains of fifty cubits; their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.

14 And the height of the curtains shall be of fifty cubits for the one side of the gate; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

15 And for the second side the height of the curtains shall be of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

16 And a veil for the door of the court, the height of it of twenty cubits of blue linen, and of purple, and spun scarlet, and of fine linen spun with the art of the embroiderer; their pillars four, and their sockets four.

17 All the pillars of the court round about overlaid with silver, and their chapiters silver and their brass sockets.

18 And the length of the court shall be a hundred cubits on each side, and the breadth fifty on each side, and the height five cubits of fine linen spun, and their sockets of brass.

19 And all the furniture and all the instruments and the pins of the court shall be of brass.

20 And do thou charge the children of Israel, and let them take for thee refined pure olive-oil beaten to burn for light, that a lamp may burn continually

21 in the tabernacle of the testimony, without the veil that is before the ark of the covenant, shall Aaron and his sons burn it from evening until morning, before the Lord: it is a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations of the children of Israel.

And do thou take to thyself both Aaron thy brother, and his sons, even them of the children of Israel; so that Aaron, and Nadab and Abiud, and Eleazar and Ithamar, sons of Aaron, may minister to me.

2 And thou shalt make holy apparel for Aaron thy brother, for honour and glory.

3 And speak thou to all those who are wise in understanding, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom and perception; and they shall make the holy apparel of Aaron for the sanctuary, in which apparel he shall minister to me as priest.

4 And these are the garments which they shall make: the breast-plate, and the shoulder-piece, and the full-length robe, and the tunic with a fringe, and the tire, and the girdle; and they shall make holy garments for Aaron and his sons to minister to me as priests.

5 And they shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.

 6 And they shall make the shoulder-piece of fine linen spun, the woven work of the embroiderer.

7 It shall have two shoulder-pieces joined together, fastened on the two sides.

8 And the woven work of the shoulder-pieces which is upon it, shall be of one piece according to the work, of pure gold and blue and purple, and spun scarlet and fine twined linen.

9 And thou shalt take the two stones, the stones of emerald, and thou shalt grave on them the names of the children of Israel.

10 Six names on the first stone, and the other six names on the second stone, according to their births.

11 It shall be the work of the stone-engraver’s art; as the graving of a seal thou shalt engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel.

12 And thou shalt put the two stones on the shoulders of the shoulder-piece: they are memorial-stones for the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel before the Lord on his two shoulders, a memorial for them.

13 And thou shalt make circlets of pure gold;

14 and thou shalt make two fringes of pure gold, variegated with flowers wreathen work; and thou shalt put the wreathen fringes on the circlets, fastening them on their shoulder-pieces in front.

15 And thou shalt make the oracle of judgment, the work of the embroiderer: in keeping with the ephod, thou shalt make it of gold, and blue and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen spun.

16 Thou shalt make it square: it shall be double; of a span the length of it, and of a span the breadth.

17 And thou shalt interweave with it a texture of four rows of stone; there shall be a row of stones, a sardius, a topaz, and emerald, the first row.

18 And the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a jasper.

19 And the third row, a ligure, an agate, an amethyst:

20 and the fourth row, a chrysolite, and a beryl, and an onyx stone, set round with gold, bound together with gold: let them be according to their row.

21 And let the stones of the names of the children of Israel be twelve according to their names, engravings as of seals: let them be for the twelve tribes each according to the name.

22 And thou shalt make on the oracle woven fringes, a chain-work of pure gold.

23 And Aaron shall take the names of the children of Israel, on the oracle of judgment on his breast; a memorial before God for him as he goes into the sanctuary.

24 And thou shalt put the fringes on the oracle of judgment; thou shalt put the wreaths on both sides of the oracle,

25 and thou shalt put the two circlets on both the shoulders of the ephod in front.

26 And thou shalt put the Manifestation and the Truth on the oracle of judgment; and it shall be on the breast of Aaron, when he goes into the holy place before the Lord; and Aaron shall bear the judgments of the children of Israel on his breast before the Lord continually.

27 And thou shalt make the full-length tunic all of blue.

28 And the opening of it shall be in the middle having a fringe round about the opening, the work of the weaver, woven together in the joining of the same piece that it might not be rent.

29 And under the fringe of the robe below thou shalt make as it were pomegranates of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen spun, under the fringe of the robe round about: golden pomegranates of the same shape, and bells round about between these.

30 A bell by the side of a golden pomegranate, and flower-work on the fringe of the robe round about.

31 And the sound of Aaron shall be audible when he ministers, as he goes into the sanctuary before the Lord, and has he goes out, that he die not.

32 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and thou shalt grave on it as the graving of a signet, Holiness of the Lord.

33 And thou shalt put it on the spun blue cloth, and it shall be on the mitre: it shall be in the front of the mitre.

34 And it shall be on the forehead of Aaron; and Aaron shall bear away the sins of their holy things, all that the children of Israel shall sanctify of every gift of their holy things, and it shall be on the forehead of Aaron continually acceptable for them before the Lord.

35 And the fringes of the garments shall be of fine linen; and thou shalt make a tire of fine linen, and thou shalt make a girdle, the work of the embroiderer.

36 And for the sons of Aaron thou shalt make tunics and girdles, and thou shalt make for them tires for honour and glory.

37 And thou shalt put them on Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, and thou shalt anoint them and fill their hands: and thou shalt sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.

38 And thou shalt make for them linen drawers to cover the nakedness of their flesh; they shall reach from the loins to the thighs.

39 And Aaron shall have them, and his sons, whenever they enter into the tabernacle of witness, or when they shall advance to the altar of the sanctuary to minister, so they shall not bring sin upon themselves, lest they die: it is a perpetual statute for him, and for his seed after him.

And these are the things which thou shalt do to them: thou shalt sanctify them, so that they shall serve me in the priesthood; and thou shalt take one young calf from the herd, and two unblemished rams;

2 and unleavened loaves kneaded with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil: thou shalt make them of fine flour of wheat.

3 And thou shalt put them on one basket, and thou shalt offer them on the basket, and the young calf and the two rams.

4 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the doors of the tabernacle of testimony, and thou shalt wash them with water.

5 And having taken the garments, thou shalt put on Aaron thy brother both the full-length robe and the ephod and the oracle; and thou shalt join for him the oracle to the ephod.

6 And thou shalt put the mitre on his head; and thou shalt put the plate, even the Holiness, on the mitre.

 7 And thou shalt take of the anointing oil, and thou shalt pour it on his head, and shalt anoint him,

8 and thou shalt bring his sons, and put garments on them.

9 And thou shalt gird them with the girdles, and put the tires upon them, and they shall have a priestly office to me for ever; and thou shalt fill the hands of Aaron and the hands of his sons.

10 And thou shalt bring the calf to the door of the tabernacle of witness; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the calf, before the Lord, by the doors of the tabernacle of witness.

11 And thou shalt slay the calf before the Lord, by the doors of the tabernacle of witness.

12 And thou shalt take of the blood of the calf, and put it on the horns of the altar with thy finger, but all the rest of the blood thou shalt pour out at the foot of the altar.

13 And thou shalt take all the fat that is on the belly, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and shalt put them upon the altar.

14 But the flesh of the calf, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp; for it is an offering on account of sin.

15 And thou shalt take one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.

16 And thou shalt kill it, and take the blood and pour it on the altar round about.

17 And thou shalt divide the ram by his several limbs, and thou shalt wash the inward parts and the feet with water, and thou shalt put them on the divided parts with the head.

18 And thou shalt offer the whole ram on the altar, a whole burnt-offering to the Lord for a sweet-smelling savour: it is an offering of incense to the Lord.

19 And thou shalt take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.

20 And thou shalt kill it, and take of the blood of it, and put it on the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, and on the tips of the right ears of his sons, and on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the great toes of their right feet.

21 And thou shalt take of the blood from the altar, and of the anointing oil; and thou shalt sprinkle it upon Aaron and on his garments, and on his sons and on his sons’ garments with him; and he shall be sanctified and his apparel, and his sons and his sons’ apparel with him: but the blood of the ram thou shalt pour round about upon the altar.

22 And thou shalt take from the ram its fat, both the fat that covers the belly, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder, for this is a consecration.

23 And one cake made with oil, and one cake from the basket of unleavened bread set forth before the Lord.

24 And thou shalt put them all on the hands of Aaron, and on the hands of his sons, and thou shalt separate them as a separate offering before the Lord.

25 And thou shalt take them from their hands, and shalt offer them up on the altar of whole burnt-offering for a sweet-smelling savour before the Lord: it is an offering to the Lord.

26 And thou shalt take the breast from the ram of consecration which is Aaron’s, and thou shalt separate it as a separate offering before the Lord, and it shall be to thee for a portion.

27 And thou shalt sanctify the separated breast and the shoulder of removal which has been separated, and which has been removed from the ram of consecration, of the portion of Aaron and of that of his sons.

28 And it shall be a perpetual statute of the children of Israel to Aaron and his sons, for this is a separate offering; and it shall be a special offering from the children of Israel, from the peace-offerings of the children of Israel, a special offering to the Lord.

29 And the apparel of the sanctuary which is Aaron’s shall be his son’s after him, for them to be anointed in them, and to fill their hands.

30 The priest his successor from among his sons who shall go into the tabernacle of witness to minister in the holies, shall put them on seven days.

31 And thou shalt take the ram of consecration, and thou shalt boil the flesh in the holy place.

32 And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the loaves in the basket, by the doors of the tabernacle of witness.

33 They shall eat the offerings with which they were sanctified to fill their hands, to sanctify them; and a stranger shall not eat of them, for they are holy.

34 And if aught be left of the flesh of the sacrifice of consecration and of the loaves until the morning, thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, for it is a holy thing.

35 And thus shalt thou do for Aaron and for his sons according to all things that I have commanded thee; seven days shalt thou fill their hands.

36 And thou shalt sacrifice the calf of the sin-offering on the day of purification, and thou shalt purify the altar when thou dost perform consecration upon it, and thou shalt anoint it so as to sanctify it.

37 Seven days shalt thou purify the altar and sanctify it; and the altar shall be most holy, every one that touches the altar shall be hallowed.

38 And these are the offerings which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two unblemished lambs of a year old daily on the altar continually, a constant offering.

39 One lamb thou shalt offer in the morning, and the second lamb thou shalt offer in the evening.

40 And a tenth measure of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil, and a drink-offering the fourth part of a hin of wine for one lamb.

41 And thou shalt offer the second lamb in the evening, after the manner of the morning-offering, and according to the drink-offering of the morning lamb; thou shalt offer it an offering to the Lord for a sweet-smelling savour,

42 a perpetual sacrifice throughout your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of witness before the Lord; wherein I will be known to thee from thence, so as to speak to thee.

43 And I will there give orders to the children of Israel, and I will be sanctified in my glory.

44 And I will sanctify the tabernacle of testimony and the altar, and I will sanctify Aaron and his sons, to minister as priests to me.

45 And I will be called upon among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

46 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, to be called upon by them, and to be their God.

30

And thou shalt make the altar of incense of incorruptible wood.

2 And thou shalt make it a cubit in length, and a cubit in breadth: it shall be square; and the height of it shall be of two cubits, its horns shall be of the same piece.

3 And thou shalt gild its grate with pure gold, and its sides round about, and its horns; and thou shalt make for it a wreathen border of gold round-about.

4 And thou shalt make under its wreathen border two rings of pure gold; thou shalt make it to the two corners on the two sides, and they shall be bearings for the staves, so as to bear it with them.

5 And thou shalt make the staves of incorruptible wood, and shalt gild them with gold.

6 And thou shalt set it before the veil that is over the ark of the testimonies, wherein I will make myself known to thee from thence.

7 And Aaron shall burn upon it fine compound incense every morning; whensoever he trims the lamps he shall burn incense upon it.

8 And when Aaron lights the lamps in the evening, he shall burn incense upon it; a constant incense-offering always before the Lord for their generations.

9 And thou shalt not offer strange incense upon it, nor and offering made by fire, nor a sacrifice; and thou shalt not pour a drink-offering upon it.

10 And once in the year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns, he shall purge it with the blood of purification for their generations: it is most holy to the Lord.

11 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

12 If thou take account of the children of Israel in the surveying of them, and they shall give every one a ransom for his soul to the Lord, then there shall not be among them a destruction in the visiting of them.

13 And this is what they shall give, as many as pass the survey, half a didrachm which is according to the didrachm of the sanctuary: twenty oboli go to the didrachm, but the half of the didrachm is the offering to the Lord.

14 Every one that passes the survey from twenty years old and upwards shall give the offering to the Lord.

15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than the half didrachm in giving the offering to the Lord, to make atonement for your souls.

16 And thou shalt take the money of the offering from the children of Israel, and shalt give it for the service of the tabernacle of testimony; and it shall be to the children of Israel a memorial before the Lord, to make atonement for your souls.

17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

18 Make a brazen laver, and a brazen base for it, for washing; and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of witness and the altar, and thou shalt pour forth water into it.

19 And Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet with water from it.

20 Whensoever they shall go into the tabernacle of witness, they shall wash themselves with water, so they shall not die, whensoever they advance to the altar to do service and to offer the whole burnt-offerings to the Lord.

21 They shall wash their hands and feet with water, whensoever they shall go into the tabernacle of witness; they shall wash themselves with water, that they die not; and it shall be for them a perpetual statute, for him and his posterity after him.

22 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

23 Do thou also take sweet herbs, the flower of choice myrrh five hundred shekels, and the half of this two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet-smelling cinnamon, and two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet-smelling calamus,

24 and of cassia five hundred shekels of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil.

25 And thou shalt make it a holy anointing oil, a perfumed ointment tempered by the art of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil.

26 And thou shalt anoint with it the tabernacle of witness, and the ark of the tabernacle of witness,

27 and all its furniture, and the candlestick and all its furniture, and the altar of incense,

28 and the altar of whole burnt-offerings and all its furniture, and the table and all its furniture, and the laver.

29 And thou shalt sanctify them, and they shall be most holy: every one that touches them shall be hallowed.

30 And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them that they may minister to me as priests.

31 And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel, saying, This shall be to you a holy anointing oil throughout your generations.

32 On man’s flesh it shall not be poured, and ye shall not make any for yourselves according to this composition: it is holy, and shall be holiness to you.

33 Whosoever shall make it in like manner, and whosoever shall give of it to a stranger, shall be destroyed from among his people.

34 And the Lord said to Moses, Take for thyself sweet herbs, stacte, onycha, sweet galbanum, and transparent frankincense; there shall be and equal weight of each.

35 And they shall make with it perfumed incense, tempered with the art of a perfumer, a pure holy work.

36 And of these thou shalt beat some small, and thou shalt put it before the testimonies in the tabernacle of testimony, whence I will make myself known to thee: it shall be to you a most holy incense.

37 Ye shall not make any for yourselves according to this composition; it shall be to you a holy thing for the Lord.

38 Whosoever shall make any in like manner, so as to smell it, shall perish from his people.
