On Sundays [When there is no feast]
Prokhimenon. Tone 1. [Psalm 32] Verse: Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us. Verse: Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous.
Alleluia [3]. Tone 1 [Psalm 17]. Verse: It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. Verse: He magnifies the deliverances of his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed.
Communion Anthem [Psalm 148]. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens. Alleluia.
Prokhimenon. Tone 2. [Psalm 117]. Verse: The Lord is my strength and my song. Verse: The Lord hath chastened me sore.

On Tuesdays [Dedicated to the Forerunner John the Baptist] Prokhimenon. Tone 7. [Psalm 63]. Verse: The righteous shall be glad in the Lord. Verse: Hear my voice, O God.
Alleluia [3]. Tone 2 [Psalm 91]. Verse: The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Verse: Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. Communion Anthem [Psalm 111]. The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. Alleluia.
On Wednesdays [Dedicated to the Mother of God] Prokhimenon. Tone 3. [Luke 1] Verse: My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Verse: For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden.
