Good morning pater mou... why can't people be happy.. why is it aman aman and if if... can't we do our cross.. if we want and say doxa to theo.... do you believe that social media is the satana of homes..
Answer to Question 597 Why can't you be happy and content with your life and what is stopping you from doing your cross and saying doxa to Theo? Whatever comes our way we should say doxa to Theo. Life is not only good times, we all go through hard and difficult times as well, but we must put our trust in God that these difficult times will pass and good times will return. If we live our life closer to God then our troubles do not seem as difficult or painful. The problem is that most people don't get into the habit of thanking God for what they have, they only remember God when hard times come along. The meaning of life is to become one with God and nothing else is of importance, but we do not understand this and place great importance on trivial and worldly matters. It doesn't matter if we have a better house than the next door neighbour or a more expensive car or designer cloths, handbag and shoes, what does matter is that for whatever we have we thank God and put our trust in him to provide us with whatever we need. Being happy is being free from material possessions and not worrying about how I'm going to pay for my sons education in ten years time. As for social media, it is the same as everything else in our lives, it can be used for good or it can be used for evil. It is up to us how we use modern technology. TV can be a bad influence but it can also be educational. This also applies to the internet and social media. If we spend all day chatting and get nothing else done then it becomes a temptation and a bad influence in our lives.
