Answer to Question 564 We have a great many modern days saints. Beginning with the early twentieth century we have thousands who were martyred under the Communist Bolshevist regime in Russian but also in the Greek world we have modern day saints like Agios Paisios of Mount Athos, Agios Porphyrios Kausokalivitis, Agios Georgios Kaslides, Agia Methodia Kimolou, Agia Sophia Kleisouda, Agios Silouan of Mount Athos, Agia Matrona the Blind, Agios Nicholas Planas, Agios Anthimos of Chios, Agios Nikephoros the Leper, Saint John of Santa Cruz. These are just a few there are many many more
