Reply No, the Orthodox church in England is not Autocephalos or antonymous, meaning that it is not independent or self ruling. It is under the protection of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. It is simply the Greek Orthodox Church or we can give it the title of its archbishop, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.
