Pater when a priest comes to your house to do a blessing do you have to give him money
Answer to Question 542 It is customary to give money as it is not part of his compulsory duties in Church. All money given in church for baptisms, weddings etc must be received with a written receipt and belongs to the church. Other money given to the priest for services outside of Church belongs to the priest.
