Question 535

Good morning Father, can you tell me who introduced Orthodoxy to Romania please, we have a different opinion on this with a friend, thank you

Answer to Question 535

It is believed that St. Andrew the Apostle is the founder of the Romanian Church although there are historians who believe that Christianity was brought to Romania by Roman Soldiers who occupied Romania towards the end of the first century

Yes but there were soldiers who had accepted the Christian faith before Rome officially accepted Christianity, many of them were martyred for their faith
