I want to light a candle and thank God , can it be any candle or does it have to be one from the church? Thank you
Answer to Question 503 The churches prefer you to buy candles from them because it is a way of contributing to the church funds, but people can take their own candles if they wish. Preferably in a natural colour
Same member Does this also apply when lighting a candle at home?
Reply Do you mean about the colour? If so I would say yes because coloured candles, especially red and black are associated with offerings to the darker side. White or natural is the traditional colour and pure bees wax candles are the best we can offer
