Why do bad things happen to good people?
Answer to Question 488 Bad things happen to good people and to bad people. If we say that bad things only happen to good people then would it be true that good things only happen to bad people. Both good and bad things happen to all people, this is a reality of life, but sometimes it feels that God has singled us out for more bad things than good. God is love and doesn't send us bad things, he doesn't send us tribulations to test our faith, but when bad things come our way we can say that God allows them and according to how we accept them we can use them to strengthen our faith.
