Question 415

Father what does it mean that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth?

Answer to Question 415

Officially The Lord said this concerning those who would not be saved that they would be cast into outer darkness and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth The outer darkness means outside of the Lord's royal palace where the divine light brilliantly shines and bathes everything within. In this place of darkness there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, meaning that there will be suffering. What this suffering is we cannot imagine, but it is not a punishment by the Lord, but rather a self imposed punishment because by their own works they rejected Christ and therefore rejected his kingdom.

Thank you  Can our prayers help those?

This is hard to answer, because our prayers can help everyone, but not against their own will. If they reject Christ then no amount of prayers will be of benefit to them

when we die do we still have free will? What if the person/people never rejected Christ but just didn’t live in a family that believed so was never taught or would be disowned if they turned to another faith

God is merciful and a just Judge, I'm sure he knows the heart of each of us and will judge all men accordingly to his righteous judgement
