I have a question pater it's not about our faith but more advise. If someone has a cross that belonged to someone who died who you know carried alot of sorrow and grief and died wearing that cross. Would a priest think it odd if the said person would ask to have this cross blessed?? Or is it not something that would be heard of blessing a cross???

Certain things we do not bless, like the Cross and Gospel Book because through these we receive a blessing. What you can do is when you next attend a baptism ask the priest to plunge the cross into the baptismal font
