Question 349

Pater one of my Daughters is getting married next year in Corfu , Greece (my hubbys from Corfu ) can you tell me please is there any difference in the actual wedding ceremony from the Cypriot one?

Answer to Question 349

The wedding service is exactly the same except that in Cyprus the priest places the stefana on the couple's heads whereas in Greece this is done by the best man. Also there may be different customs associated with weddings, but these have nothing to do with the actual service.

They can have both a koumparo and a koumpara, but I think the custom is to just have the one or the other or a married couple.
