Good afternoon pater, my dad passed away on the 21st April which falls on a Saturday this year! Do I do his mnimosino on Sunday 15th? My mum used to do it but she passed away 6 months ago so it falls to me to sort it out!
Answer to Question 305
In Cyprus we don't do mnimosina from 1st April Lazarus Saturday until after the 15th which is Thomas Sunday. So the first Sunday for mnimosina is 22nd of April. Why not do it then, it doesn't matter that it's after the date that he passed away. In England they might possibly do it on the 15th, but you have to ask a Priest over there.
