Why do we live in such a hard and cruel world?
Answer to Question 262
We live in a hard world because there is so much sin in the world and we prefer to live in sin rather than in God's holiness. Humans have created most of the evils in the world by wanting to live free of God's teaching, we don't want to live with restrictions telling us how to live and for the most, people find it hard to believe that their way of life is influenced by evil. Everyone thinks that they are so good and the best people in the world, yet they live without God in their lives and only remember there is a God when troubles come to their doorstep.
